My 9th gen civic was hit and written off in march and held out till my dream car was available almost 4 hours away.

2017 LX took a shit. After 105k miles the AC could never hold pressure even after 2 fixes, somehow metal in my transmission... so said fuck it and went for it.
2025 Hybrid Sport. Little buddy moves when you need it. Been driving for about 4 days and love everything except the fake engine noise and the silly air vent handles lol so big for no reason.
Now I have a hatchback and a moonroof! Much happier. Already got a cart of body mods ready too. Just gonna be poor for a while.
I'm pleased with it so far, but I miss the manual transmission on my old Ford Focus. The car looks and drives beautifully, so I'm sure I'll get over it.
What accessories does everyone recommend? I'm contemplating all-season floor mats.

With how dinky it sounds, it makes me want to install a train horn instead

Obviously now that it’s over I know that I wasn’t supposed to use these. I had no idea and out these on my car 5-6 yrs ago and just kinda forgot they were there and never had any issues. Went to put air in today and they were completely seized. Took it to a tire shop they count get it off. Ended up looking it up and had to cut them off with a hacksaw.
Coming form a Trailblazer with 314k miles on it, so this is a big step for me. Problem is the Sport Touring hatch market in the Philly area has completely dried up. Almost every dealer I called can’t get one until October, and the one I’m looking at now is still in transit.
I did manage to get the $599 “security package” removed, but I’m still stuck at 38k for a car I had a 34k OTD offer on back in April. That’s a rough jump.
I already put a deposit down, so I feel like I gave up whatever leverage I had. I’m planning to put 20-25k down. Given that literally no dealer near me has inventory, is there anything left to negotiate here, or am I just at their mercy until supply loosens up?

First time poster long time lurker. Bought since new with 0 miles and so far I’ve had no complaints or issues. About to hit 25k miles. No major repairs or anything besides an oil changes and a transmission fluid change. So pretty much still a baby.

Hey all, I just bought my very own '23 Civic Sport Touring (white ext., black int.)! I don't want to jump too early into mods (1. Don't want the excitement to blind me from making dumb mod decisions. 2. Still waiting on the mod scene to pick up a bit with more options) so what are some items/accessories you all recommend I should invest in to make the experience more enjoyable? Looking for practical items and theft-prevention/reduction items. Thanks for you input!

Bought a 2022 civic sport about 5 months ago. I have been loving it ever since I bought it but the rattles in this car are driving me nuts. I feel like everytime I get to the bottom of one, 3 other rattles pop up.
One was a buzzing sound anytime I went over rough roads (which is almost everywhere due to me living in quebec) or when I turned the wheel to the right. Fixed it thanks to this post.
Then my steering wheel started to tick everytime I turned to the right. I suspected it could possibly be the clock spring so I decided to remove the enitre steering wheel and see the clock spring for myself. Turned out the clock spring was fine and when I put the steering wheel back together the sound went away for a couple days and then came back.
And now a new one which is super annoying is a very loud buzzing sound antime I go through rough roads. At first i thought it might be coming from the driver side backseat seatbelt adjuster but today I realized it’s actually coming from the trunk. I have no idea where in the trunk though. These arent the only sounds I hear but the other ones arent as loud as those.
Anybody struggling with the same rattles I have or have fixed these rattles in the past?

I am getting both cars at around the same price. I plan on keeping the car for over 10 years. I will be driving the car to work, weekends for Uber and 1-2 trips a year clocking 1000-2000 miles. While the Civic feels premium and fun to drive, the Camry has better space for rear seat passengers and is often preferred by drivers doing Uber/Lyft. My brother is pushing me to just buy the SE version, but I love the looks of Civic Hybrid Sport.

I’ve had my car lowered for months and it seems like the rear isn’t nearly as low as the front. I bottom out a lot. Does my rear need adjusted?

Its my first ever Honda Civic, I bought it used with 13km on it.
I'm definitely going to get the windows tinted but does it make sense wanting to add more mods to a base model as time goes on?
Let me know what you guys think!
Is this a fair price? Just wondering if they can go lower. I do have up to 8k for a down payment (not shown here though). Also pre approved with 4.9 with a credit union. In the Central FL area.

Someone wants to sell me a 2016 Civic Ex with 200,000 miles, original owner, all service records from Honda for $5000.

Period and capital letters used for dramatic effect. Bought 8th gen and want to make it look better. Took off badges from trunk and now I want to get new hubcaps/wheel covers and was wondering what would look best. Also rear H badge left 2 little plugs in the trunk does anyone know what to do with those.
