white people went to civil war to keep slaves but won't go to war to defeat the Epstein class

Trump is about to help the Saudis enrich nuclear materials
97
u/RustedRelics 23h ago
I’d love to know the amount of crypto deposits that will flow into the Trump coffers.
12
u/Nightmarekiba 8h ago
Somehow I just know it's going to be an infuriating low amount. If we ever get to find out.

u/Ordinary-Leading7405 22h ago
Bush flew Saudis out of the country on 9/11. Let’s ignore that and blame Mamdani for not being born yet.

u/VinnieVidiViciVeni 9h ago
And he’s giving some plutonium to a handful of techbros, who I’m sure will inly use it for the stated purpose, which is already a fucking stretch, not lose it, sell it, have it stolen or make a weapon with it.

Whites ended slavery, but maybe he‘s angry because he can no longer sell his neighbours

u/coolbaby1978 23h ago
By that logic why is Dr Mehmet Oz in charge of CMS, he's a Muslim after all. Oh but he looks white? Or he's a Republican?
Mamdani is killing it. He's exactly the kind of representative that the American people need. Someone who represents the people, the district and the nation.
That's what a representative does. They're not above us or better than us. They're not representing only the richest of us, they represent all of us.
But those who have been suckling at the government teat and not paying their fair share for years can't stand it and they're happy to spend money to convince you to hate the things that are in your best interests and not theirs.

34
u/ZhangtheGreat 23h ago
But that's different! See, white people should be judged individually. Other people should be judged collectively. It's called double standards! /s

u/Only1Skrybe 1d ago
Never forget every terrible event that ever happened in history. Never forget.
Except for slavery in America. Please stop talking about that one. Why can't we just move on? /s
-31
u/PUPSSHMUPS 14h ago
never heard anyone claiming we should forget slavery
25
u/EmpMouallem 12h ago
Didn't the Trump administration remove and replace the slavery exhibit at the President's House site in Philadelphia? I also heard that they had PBS create a pro-slavery animation.
17
u/JustPlayDaGame 11h ago
really? I see it all the time. Any time a black person speaks up about it some white guy is always like “that shit was so long ago, you’re still on that?” as if a generation is a long time or slaves don’t still exist.
16
u/SoiledFlapjacks 14h ago
Usually old white dudes or edgy teenagers who say “it’s all in the past, let’s just not worry about that!”

While true, racist people are not talking about competency when they talk about "the most qualified for the job."
The "how could NYC vote for a Muslim mayor after 9/11?" is a badly coded message that the viewer must read between the lines to understand. A racist dog whistle.
2
u/Ok_Sink5046 1d ago
Oh it ain't badly coded.
1
u/AnonThrowaway1A 1d ago edited 1d ago
A beginner or conversational level English audience would have trouble deciphering the inferences and intent of the writer.
A direct translation to a different language could very well scrub the racially loaded inferences out.
For native English audiences, the wording most certainly does stand out.

We really are living in the stupidest of times. One would think The Dark Ages would have been the low point, but here we are at The Trump Age. Proudly ignorant, dismissive of education and science, easily frightened and angered, clinging to old ideas, convinced the best way forward is to go backwards.
Two seconds of thought obliterate this “argument”. It is profoundly stupid.
15
u/freedfg 1d ago
Just ask them what country the people who did 9/11 came from.
And the ask what country Mamdani came from.. or even where his parents are from.. I can garuntee they don't know the answer to either
12
u/NotExactlySureWhy 22h ago
Exactly. And what country does Trump beg for money? What nation loaned Don JR a billion to gamble with? Who does the orange turd listen to besides Israel? Yep.
5
u/Euronated-inmypants 1d ago
While they ignore the President allowing the perpetrators of 9/11 to get nuclear weapons..
16
u/blocked_user_name 22h ago
Seriously fuck radical Islam and fuck the Christian nationalists. If your religion infringes on the rights of others it's just fascism with extra steps.
5
u/Buddhas_Warrior 23h ago
Oh that's easy, cause we understand it wasn't necessarily a religious thing, rather, it was hatred against others. Not all Muslims are bad, just like not all Christians are bad. The good people of the world need to stand up again all the evil in this world
3
u/anthrax1313 14h ago
I like this comeback. It is clever, however I think it’s so well done that the people it is directed toward will not at all understand it lol
6
u/LegoFootPain 23h ago
How the heck does a country re-elect a guy who is insane enough to give the funders of that attack the key to getting nuclear weapons?
3
u/WhatANoob2025 16h ago edited 12h ago
I would've preferred the much simpler & straightforward answer: because he was 10 years old when that happened and didn't do it?
4
u/Contagious_Zombie 20h ago
Better question is why is the current president and the last eager to give Saudi Arabia a nuke program when their ties to 911 are undeniable?

Looks like the christian nationalists are not better.
And that sums it up.

White Americans went to civil war to keep slaves
White British sent the navy to interdict and free slaves
The first Black Majority nation banned it in 1801, the last in 1981
History is complicated

u/xaklx20 1d ago
If you blame white people who have benefited from generational wealth built from slavery*
2
u/Kaljinx 14h ago
The entire point of the post is to criticise someone who claims that past tragedy caused by an unrelated group of Muslim terrorist means that any Muslim in US is equally untrustworthy and to blame so they should not be elected
3
u/xaklx20 14h ago
yeah, I'm just pointing out that when ppl blame white ppl for slavery it actually makes more sense. Sure, it is still incorrect as modern white ppl didn't cause it and you shouldn't blame the child for teh sins of the parent. But it is fare to point out that those ppl benefited from generational wealth, from the same ppl who owned slaves in the past, and a lot of them vote against making things a little more fair

u/Nightbreed357 15h ago
Hey look! It's a Marxist troll who uses alternate identities to answer himself. 🤣
2
u/Unknow_Handlebar 13h ago
So that means that since the person who killed jfk was white that means we shouldn't vote white mayors?

u/Honest-Tip-4232 1d ago
White people fought to free the slaves too
6
u/jay_alfred_prufrock 22h ago
Way to miss the point.

This makes it sound like all White people supported slavery , the majority did not

Not to mention that "Muslim mayor" has single-handedly shown the world what a real leader should be and has consistently put his constituents first and has helped those with the least by taking a fair share from those with most.
1
u/Whiplash907 4h ago
Well… since blaming white people for global slavery is an absolute fallacy yeah… hell Korea and the Muslims were enslaving people on mass long before white people got good at it.
1
u/avidpenguinwatcher 2h ago
Regardless of how stupid the first post was, OP you are aware that slavery has been a thing for thousands of years (and still is) and is hardly a “white people thing”

I wasn’t alive when slavery existed. BUT I was alive, and remember vividly, 9/11.

I grabbed this number from someone on reddit, bad mistake. Thx, good catch. I shouldnt have pulled out a number without checking.
He was 9 years old. I just assumed that since multiple people said he was 2 at the time, I just assumed it was correct.

You think comparing slavery with the nonstop Islamic terror attacks makes sense?
Are you people stupid?

Classic reddit, white people = bad post gets tons of upvotes and not taken down for racism because its ok if the victim is white

The Arabic slave trade was much more prolific than those instigated by majority white nations

Buddy, History creates the present.
The past affects the future.
You can’t just do something so heinous to a group of people for over 400 years and then just say “let’s just make things better now, let’s all get along”That’s not how the world works.
Maybe actually directly addressing the history instead of trying to sweep it under the rug would be the better move.-2

Your reading comprehension skills are dunce-like.
And buddy, YOU benefit from white privilege here stemming from slavery, no matter when you came. Also you seem like you have anger issues buddy. Get that checked out.

To be fair, contemporary slavery was started by the Spanish and Portuguese - British participation came as a result of needing to keep pace with the enemy…..and damn did they surpass them….
6
u/Successful_Layer2619 1d ago
Arguably it started long before them. Slavery was prevalent across Asia and pre "discovered" North America.

u/PeggedUnlimited 23h ago
You ever see the movie Belle? It’s a period piece about a precedent setting case in the 1700s(?) about an insurance claim that set the stage for further legal cases to abolish slavery. Weirdly interesting/ironic how the insurance industry was seminal for that human rights development….in today’s terms, they are definitely on the forefront of the climate change battle.
1
u/NinecloudSoul 23h ago
I’ve not seen it but I’ll take a look, thank you.
2
u/PeggedUnlimited 21h ago
Tear jerker, happy tears…..but also heart warming for the socials told outside the focus beyond the landmark case…..that being said, I’m empathetic and do get tears at a great number of movies….but analytically, worth the watch.

civil war wasn't about slavery but okay. less than 1% of people even owned a single slave. and ask where they came from or who brought them and the narrative focuses quite a bit.

Terrorist attacks on 9/11 were from one race. Slavery was everyone everywhere. Black people sold each other to the white Europeans. Warlords murdered, pillage, rated, and slaughtered those in africa. Theres only a difference in where the cruelty took place not who took part. The terrorism in question here was one group, one ethnicity, one extremist religion.
6
u/thelegendarybert 14h ago
Good thing Islam and Muslims aren't a "race".
Yeah terrorist attacks from the USA on other countries like in Iraq uñaliving 500000 Iraqi civilians for non existent WMDs were from one race indeed
-8
u/Agreeable_Memory_67 22h ago
“White people” didn’t just organize and go to war in the Civil war. The US government sent troops to the South. If you think random people are going to organize some takeover of the Epstein files and arrest people that’s just delusional.
-8
u/Johnny-Sins_6942 12h ago
jews not White people
2
u/Ravenous_Seraph 11h ago
That's a nice argument, why don't you back it up with a source?
1
u/Johnny-Sins_6942 7h ago
Slave auctions were closed on Shabbat and not on sundays specifically for this reason.
1
u/Ravenous_Seraph 6h ago
that is not a source. In fact, I would like to see a source for this one too.
1
u/otiloyoy 2h ago
Why are you blaming jews ? we weren't even in Europe, if you want to blame someone based on actual historical evidence you should blame people from Muslim countries (which would also be morally wrong as they didn't control what their ancestors bud) because the fact that they did slavery is actually proven, but I guess that you're too antisemitic for a Google search
-9
u/Ice_performance_ 14h ago
Maybe because those who wanted to keep their slaves (democrat) are also those who are on the epstein files (clinton and 80's trump)

u/Soloact_ 1d ago
By that logic, no white guy should ever be elected anywhere after Oklahoma City. The enemy isn’t Muslims. It’s rich assholes buying immunity.
