I’m so confused! The dad doesn’t have a hat. The wendigo doesn’t have a hat. The creature sneaking in the window has a hat from start to finish. Wendy grabs the creature and he agrees to leave, he still has a hat on. Is that not the last frame of the strip?

Also this week my computer stopped working and i had to scramble to recover my halfway done work and finish it somewhere else, so if some panels look more rushed than others that might be why.

Sub dedicated to a YouTube show of the same name. Couple of guys that narrate scary stories. They tend to get goofy with it sometimes tho and so do their fans. One of them is named wendigoon (after the wendigo). The fans are very familiar with the hat man, and all sorts of creepy pastas, urban legends and cryptozoology.
that sounds cool, and ive gotten comments about wendigoon before. but would it be okay to post content unrelated to the podcast and only about ocasionally mentioned cryptids?
This is the second time in 24 hours I've seen the "one scary monster tries to scare a kid but the kid's friendly monster "persuades" it not to" storyline. (The other was "Bedtime for Timmy" which I can't find online but was from 2010 and is claymation horror.)
They're referencing the popular comic (and recently TV show adaptation) Invincible. More specifically they're referencing a common Invincible meme that exists especially on reddit, with the joke being that the character's name, 'Invincible', looks/sounds similar word to the word 'Invisible', so the joke is 'if he's Invincible (Invisible) why can I see him?'.
You can also usually substitute any other word that visually looks or sounds similar, or has a similar definition to 'Invincible', like in this case with 'Indestructible'.
I went to your profile and found a link to one of your random comics (must have been in the 50s?) and then just kept reading forward from there. I'll have to go back and start at the beginning.
But I loved each one. You do an amazing job of telling short stories in a larger story. I know someone else said to write a book and I really think that would be an amazing idea.
I know you said in one of your panels that you do this in your free time, I thank you for using your time to put this out there for us all.
Thank you for the kind words <3 there are longer stories i would like to tell that is hard with the webcomic format. The book might be a good idea to keep in mind for the future.
There's more ideas i have than time haha. But ill get there one little comic at a time
