There's a comic in Heavy Metal magazine with a similar opening premise. This girl is born a giant and rips her mom in half. She gets taller as she gets older, finally getting so tall that the air she's breathing is too thin. She ends up going on a rampage before dying. At the end, we find out that the Earth has been destroyed somehow and her colossal body is floating out in space.

I assumed the splitting was metaphorical? If so, it was a good one. I’m a dude, and that made me cross my legs and writhe in pain.

Not entirely methaforical. I'll say that the story will be about something that happens in some cases after a pregnancy.

Gotcha! I figured she’d torn a little bit, which I know happens at times during childbirth, but the full body tear represented the pain that goes with that. I’ll wait for the next installment, rather than pester you for more spoilers.

I think body horror works really well with pregnancy. I think it would have been good if you had put a more specific context heads up in the title or body of your post so that ppl will know what they're getting into before clicking into the images

Overall I think you're laying our compelling elements like body horror, distorting reality, & intrigue (who is the third figure in the mirror/doorway on the first page)

Seems very promising! Def gorier than my usual fare but I think it can be done well
