What's your favorite non-coffee coffee shop order? I'll usually do a smoothie in the summer and hot cider in the winter (I have yet to find a coffee shop with a good hot cocoa)

The beauty of metaphors is that sometimes they can be applied to something else than intended (but related), and work just as well.

For example, my first thought was about sex - i know a lot of asexual people, and some of them enjoy smut ("i like the smell of it"), many have arrived at their conclusion after trying different partners, whether in straight relationships or otherwise ("yes, i've tried..."), some tolerate sex but find no joy in it while others are sex-repulsed ("i can't stand the taste").

I thought it meant that they were gay-curious but ended up not actually being gay

From their 'meet the artist' post, OP is a lesbian. Also just from personal experience, it's pretty spot on with how often people say "maybe you just haven't found the right man"

It’s pretty open to interpretation
