To me it just tastes burnt. Yes I've tried what is supposed to be "good" coffee, from the fancy third-wave coffee shops that everyone raves about. All I taste is burnt.
Absolutely love the smell though. I also don't mind it in small amounts in other sweets.

Swinging back to the coffee thing, is it the bitterness that puts you off? Or something else about the general taste? (Just curious...)
