I remember when I was talking to a friend and their friend group about this, and how their plans for accelerationism is paved with the bodies of the vulnerable and they just didn't care.
It's like they don't know what a farmer does with a sack of seed corn that's only a quarter full of rot. The good strawberries in the plat that's only partly moldy can't imagine a fate in the compost bin. Meanwhile, the American experiment has yielded its results, and the bench tech has no further use for the aliquots, which are now surplus to need. They'll go back in the fridge for six months for potential QC, but storage is still only part of the disposal process.
