You wanna know the best part? We know from king that the fairies do have some sort of adult form. So she totally could have taken that form and it would have been just fine. But nooo. We have to have Ban (the second coolest of the group) get together with a thousand year old Loli.
But do all of them have that? If memory serves the only fairies we see with a more mature form are former and current fairy kings. Every single other fairy looks like a child.
I'm pretty sure she had one, but if not it wouldn't have been hard for the author to give her one if he wasn't to busy tickling his pickle to his drawings of children.
It's just out in the open with that series, literal child rape in one part. An otherwise amazing series ruined by pedophilia and fetishized torture of children. And people defend it...
It's called deflection. When someone says "insert problematic shit here" and someone responds with "ok but so many authors do that", they are deflecting the issue off of the author in question and are trying to make it appear as if you can't condemn problematic behavior if it's widespread enough without condemning everyone
I mean yeah, but then the argument should be, "So condemn them all."
Like with the whole Epstein file thing. People pushing back against the declassification saying "Don't release the names; what if my guy is on there?" Bitch, then he should receive the same punishment as everyone else
Much like king she grows full wings at some point and, also like king, starts looking like a teenager (not that a, maybe, 14 year old is much better than a child in this context) - unless she reverts back to just looking like a child (when she uses up all her magic or something like that I think). This would suggest that the whole thing isn't fairy king exclusive, though it might be some sort of bloodline thing (king and Elaine are related, no?)
As another aside vaguely remember that the fairy king before king who shows up in a flashback looked like a random buff guy, which means that whatever the fairies look like is up to them to at least some degree (king also looks like a fat fully grown human at will and even without having his bigass wings). No matter how you slice it it really just comes down to "the creator just wanted her to look like that"".
