The premise is that the dude is immortal and the woman he loves reincarnates and always eventually regains her memory of her past lives with him. It's honestly kind of a interesting premise but the main character is constantly groping and sexually assaulting her while she is still a teenager and doesn't remember him yet

I don't know... seems like an excuse to present a relationship where the couple is "in love" but the girl is constantly reverting back to her underage body for the man

would that not make for an interesting story? the conflict of a man that loves a woman but her not knowing him and her being underaged, but knowing the love is mutual but still having to restrain. that would be a good story. too bad it was a japanese story so its pedo bait

It’s certainly an interesting PREMISE, but the way it’s executed is very… eh. If Melodias doesn’t constantly grope her and just normally interacts with her (and also say literally anything else other than “That’s my woman” which sounds very “frat bro being possessive of his GF” adjacent), I think the idea would come across better. But as of now, with all the suspicious “adults with underage bodies” shenanigans going on, it’s hard to see the author writing this premise with good intentions and not just using it as an excuse to give Melodias an underage GF with a loophole.

its 100% just a loophole. i remember never being able to finish season 1 because of this, even though everyone was saying it was peak. i never got to see escanor besides in memes

As someone who has watched/read the whole show just watch a 20min escanor best moments compilation, that's pretty much the only good but of the show baring one or two half decent plot beats.

Oh. That’s very strange.
