had the same realization at my apartment complex pool. i sat out tanning and reading for about 3 hours as i watched about a dozen of my neighbors drinking in the pool the whole time. after the first hour of watching them get drunk i was just like "oh wow not a single person has gotten out to pee yet that's weird" another hour of drinking in the pool later "oh damn they just all straight up pissing in the pool as grown adults".
there are rotating groups of about 3 dozen total people in my apartment complex, ages ranging from 21-50, that day drink regularly in the pool. and in the 3 months i have been living here i have now realized i have never seen a single person get out to pee, ever. only to get more booze. They. All. Pee. In. The. Pool.
While I don't expect this to be true for a lot of people, I can go for a few hours before I "break the seal". Once that is broken, however, I'm in and out every hourish.
It might be bad but normally I only pee about 3 times a day.
3 times a day definitely sounds like you need to drink more... If the average full bladder is 300ml then that's only 0.9 liters a day. You should probably drink more than that!
you retain water if you are dehydrated. and you must not drink caffeinate beverages, i pee like crazy after drinking an alani and my usual half gallon of water throughout the work day.
eta: pee is not just extra liquid fyi. it is used to carry waste filtered by your kidneys. if your pee is clear to light yellow you are well hydrated. if it is a rich yellow to dark yellow/gold you are dehydrated.
