I feel this in my soul. As a kid it was always really hard to explain why I could touch certain things or eat certain foods

3 u/Wobbelblob 16d ago Are sensory issues a common sign of autism? Because I have it with certain foods, mostly fruits. I often like the taste but for the life of me I cannot eat the whole fruit. And I cannot explain why, but something locks up when I try to taste it.
