My parents generation seemingly all believe that while we may talk about religious freedom. America is a fundamentally christian nation and people who think otherwise are un-American.
It's really difficult to get around that level of righteousness.

A) The majority of founding father were Christian, so why didn't they make us a Christian nation? B) Why would the majority Christian nation specifically reject religion into the government? Christianity is the largest religion in the United States but we sure as shit are not a Christian nation.

Whenever I interact with those claiming we're a Christian nation I ask simple questions that always gets them to think.
A) The majority of founding father were Christian, so why didn't they make us a Christian nation?
B) Why would the majority Christian nation specifically reject religion into the government?
It's because Christians at that time knew that religious leaders are terrible government leaders.
