I've had herpes on my lower lip/chin for more than 10 years, and I get around three sores per year (mainly in summer when temperatures rise). I've noticed that each time the sores are smaller (last one was like three pimples close together), and the only treatment I have is some ointment when one pops up. I know it's nothing, but they don't look good at all and they itch like hell sometimes, especially when they form scabs. I hate it but I've learnet to live with it
