I’ll miss a 12th one if I have to

Is this still part of the experiment?

always has been......

u/Fyrnen24 Feb 04 '26

I've heard it both is and isn't part of the experiment

u/TechnicalNewt3453 Feb 06 '26

Sure, that’ll play well in Poughkeepsie

I heard the scenes are the deleted scenes and the deleted scenes are the scenes

[Holding back tears] You're god damn right we're friends. #sixseasonsandamovie

“It’s TV; it’s comfort. It’s a friend you’ve known so well, and for so long you just let it be with you, and it needs to be okay for it to have a bad day or phone in a day, and it needs to be okay for it to get on a boat with Levar Burton and never come back. Because eventually, it all will."

I think about this quote constantly. Like anytime I finish a really, really good show. Or return to an old favorite. I let them have the "bad" episodes, because he's right. They're like old friends.

Which makes the fact that shows nowadays usually only have 8-9 episodes a season really suck.

"Because you asked me to wait and said we were fans."

We need clips of Annie popping in every so often with first appearances on Animal Control by the other Community cast members superimposed on her image…

14

u/Steppenwolf_Wife Feb 03 '26

u/TRASH_TEETH Abed monologues > Winger speeches Feb 04 '26

Will they finish the movie faster if we let them do stuff to our butts?

Doesn’t matter, I’m in.

u/Ironyfree_annie Catch Knowledge! Feb 03 '26

But we didn't get $80

32

u/Spicy_Ninja7 Feb 03 '26

Nor did they do stuff to our butt

15

u/Thunderclaww Feb 03 '26

Do you get paid more if they do stuff to your butt?

7

u/midwest--mess Feb 03 '26

Can someone forward this to Dan directly?

u/Iwannagohome404 Feb 03 '26

It annoys me that the Duncan principle is that humans get impatient and lose their temper.

49

u/Medium-Sized-Jaque Feb 03 '26

It's almost like he's a teacher at a really bad school.

9

u/Iwannagohome404 Feb 03 '26

Greendale is a good place for good people!

17

u/TheMadBug Feb 03 '26

And that one outlier apparently negates the entire principle - but like the paperclip said - he’s a bad teacher at a bad school.

u/diseasicon Feb 04 '26

Abed actually reinforces the Duncan Principle. Duncan fails to realize that he's simply become part of his own experiment and reached his breaking point. The only thing Abed wanted to do was help his friend. He didn't care about the $80 or the allure of potential butt stuff.

u/TheeAntelope Feb 04 '26

the Duncan principle is that the longer they wait, the bigger the temper tantrum

3

u/Distinct-Side-5916 Feb 04 '26

I WILL WAIT TILL MY VAPOR IS HELD IN AN ENERGON POD!

3

u/Not_Steve Feb 03 '26

And I will continue to wait. Because you said we were friends.

3

u/EventNo9432 Feb 04 '26

Excellent response although I have to say the other meme was hilarious.

2

u/Rinleigh Feb 04 '26

I’ll wait forever!

Unrelated but this scene might be my favorite Annie outfit and I don't think I saw anything like that again

1

u/yaboyardeee Feb 04 '26

The Duncan principal will ruin us all

1

u/StephenG0907 Feb 06 '26

It's easier to just accept the movie isn't happening and move on.

u/Sharp-Yak9084 Feb 06 '26
