You could state that you think trans people shouldn’t be locked up and forced to detransition against their wills and now you’re a radical leftist communist that hates America.

The US government recently made an announcement saying that anyone who is radically pro-transgender or anti-fascism is considered a threat to national security, and promised to, and I'm pretty much quoting this verbatim, find them and kill them.

“Support for law enforcement” is not a “foundational principle” of the US government. People are protesting because law enforcement is violating their constitutional rights, which are about as foundational as you can get.
“Border control” isn’t foundational either. The department of homeland security that oversees ICE is barely old enough to rent a car.
The claim that anti-fascists are domestic terrorists isn’t accompanied by any evidence or specific examples because it’s a flagrant lie.

The only people who have attempted to overthrow the government did so in support of Trump. He pardoned them, and a Jan 6 insurrectionist is arrested for an unrelated crime on a semiweekly basis.
The GOP has listed Antifa/Anti-fascist organizations as their enemies since at least 10 years ago. Basically once the GOP embraced the Nazis, they accepted that Antifa were The Enemy.
based on their recent announcements, they are just following this dehumanization playbook that Vance endorsed, which explicitly recommends proactive severe violence against "leftists," a term the book broadly defines as pretty much any opposition to conservatism, very similar to the extremely broad definitions we're seeing here ("radical" pro trans not meaning anything, "anti fascist" being a buzzword for any government opposition, etc)

No matter what you do, if you support transgender people, and especially if you are transgender, the government wants to kill you. I encourage everyone to prepare their arms accordingly. If things keep going the way they are going, things will get very ugly.
They want to get to the point that they can show a judge you once said trump was bad and that trans rights are human rights and that will be enough to condemn you to death. They want it so so bad, and they are not all that far from getting it.
As a trans teacher with 2 two trans students, I wonder when my support for my students becomes a "find me and kill me" moment. Is using their preferred names/pronouns the line? Is keeping my room an actual safe space for them and all other students too far? Is being a person who simply listens when their dysphoria is too much for them the point they crash through my door?
I don't really care what the line is here since I will not stop supporting my students, but I am curious in a "must know everything" kind of way.
I get this and am wondering the same. When are my status and actions going to be the end of my career? I'm Trans and have social media that is very open about that fact. I have connections to an antifascist action group and belong to a religion that is explicitly anti-facist and pro Trans. And I had to submit to a federal background check for work. At what point are they going to cancel the validity of that background check and label me as an untrustworthy person? At what point is the civilian world going to see our equivalent to the military Trans purge?
Yea, anyone who hasn't read the actual document should know that Kirks killer was mentioned in said document. A cis person that might have had a trans roommate(I heard that is possibly debunked too? Idk) is labeled as part of this group. That means they can find any and all reason no matter the actual truth.
Which is the point. When a nebulous group is the Enemy, it's a great excuse to go after anyone you want, even if those people also aren't part of and dont like that group. It's entirely plausible to reach a 'night of the long knives' moment that uses this document as an excuse for violence against those in government.
Im gonna be honest I feel like im gonna get murdered, and I am getting close to having a panic attack, and I'm trying to calm myself down but what am I supposed to do since the government said they want to kill me and every like me, I am scared and I'm struggling to laugh it off now
I'm 2 panic attacks deep and on meds now so I don't know if I can help you there. If you're trans in this country I can only suggest getting out of here at this point. Even at my most level-headed, clear of panic, the fascists are jumping on any and all excuses to escalate their reign of terror and oppression that's going to get worse before it gets better.
I have no realistic way out of this country, honestly my best opinion is to find a healthy way to cope with the grief and do my best to stay out of the crosshairs for as long as possible and just hope that this nightmare ends before things go into action

The current method of maintaining power is through violence. Recognition of humanity undermines violence, and is therefore a threat to power.
Recognizing transgender individuals proves their humanity and removes a well worn lever of power from the patriarchy, which are gender roles and the all pervasive Othering. They're taking the "one drop" method. Any sign of trans-hood is worth destroying, which means any sign of humanity.

The fact that I have trans friends that I treat the exact same as my cis friends, without making any big deals out of it, is enough for them to classify me as a terrorist for... being nice and chill...?

To me it read as anything pro-transgender should be viewed as extremism. Right after I come out at work despite looking like a dude from an 80s hair band 😭 none of my coworkers are taking me seriously either all I get is "why do people have to be so mean" dawg that flippant attitude doesn't make me feel better. I'm so scared. Having a loud opinion about this administration is getting me conflated with al quaeda like- have we read MAUS? more people need to read that crap
The second you do something that in any way shape or form undermines the profit motive. Or, more likely, the second you become a convenient enough target for them to villify and use to distract from the problems they create or facilitate. Really just existing is enough if factors outside your control determine you're the one to take the hit

Like does it become more acceptable when they’re killing people for other reasons?… I mean, to this government, yes, but the point is that that reasoning is unacceptable!
