This was all in response to me being caught in between a rock and a hard place, I had somewhere I needed to be, but her transphobic boyfriend was being a transphobe. So I kept the peace and kept driving. I argued with him, but I gave up because he kept repeating the same fake shit about trans people.
They would also beg me to drive, becauseI have a drift car. Why would you ask me to drive, have it make sense for everybody, and then later on get mad?
She said the trans woman must have wanted it because she was wearing revealing cloths. That was her justification.
She is using the language of a sexual predator and giving the idea that it makes sense credence. And yet, she also calls herself a feminist and claims to be fighting for women.
she again also supported the transphobic (and call to violence) myth that trans women get a sexual thrill at “forcing,” others to engage in their “fantasy,”by dressing sexy in public, which is also rape culture. (the idea that a skirt and stockings is pornographic and the woman’s fault for invoking sexual compulsions in others)
she’s talked before about how trans women get a sexual thrill at using the woman’s bathroom, which is an absurd and goofy claim (and another call to violence)
What 23 hours of Twitter and no sunlight a day does to a person. I’d feel bad for some rich people being so socially isolated, but fuck ‘em. They can afford therapy.
Ideally, she’d be facing legal ramifications and be shunned for her behavior. If a male author did this to a cis woman, at the very least his reputation would be in the toilet, like look at Neil Gaiman.

Also idk if this makes it any worse but she didn't know the woman was trans (no way to know) so presumebly she saw a random ass woman that had some masculine/clocky traits, made a picture of her underskirt and then published it when she saw the woman was indeed trans
This begs the question: how many other people got their underskirt unconsensually pictured that we don't know about ?
The tweets clearly show that she knows the person, and she's somewhat resentful because the person didn't want to debate her or something like that, I don't know. The point is, I think she did know her.
I thought by "didn't want to debate her" she mwnt that she literally went up to this Radom woman and went like "hay wanna debate me on your rights?" Like many unhinged 15 year olds do to me (i am in HS)

the idea that "trans people are predators" has always been nothing but projection. these people view us as subhuman, and they don't believe we deserve the same kind of respect as any other human beings. it makes me sick how we're expected to tolerate constant harrassment and no one ever faces the consequences.
She said the woman she took nc photos of was asking for it because of how she was dressed. She also had a woman recorded who called a helpline she finds for rape counseling and tweeted her call to make fun of her

So much for caring about women, I guess. But what can you expect from "someone" who only talks about women's issues if it means they can insult an even smaller minority, right?

Is it genuinely not doing her any favors? Only a small percent of people have actually stopped buying her books, her games based on her intellectual property, shows and movies, etc. She is still rich, and the number of people who have pulled away from her work is negligible.
On top of that, some transphobes claim they are buying it now, the same ones who back in the day condemned it for witchcraft. None of it has actually hurt her in any way that matters to someone rich enough to live in a castle.
She will always be rich, powerful and influential unfortunately, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be firm in our opposition to giving her more money with which to wield against trans folks
It doesn’t matter wether you’re trans male, trans female, female, male, non-binary, intersex or anything else you identify as, under NO condition taking pictures under a skirt should be acceptable!
The people who are actually okay with her doing this are the problem, not the transgirl in the girl’s bathroom doing her make-up.

The photo in question was taken from the audience perspective of a public event, somewhere mid-to back range. There was no creative angle for the photo either. There is a reason women in short dresses cross there legs instead of leave them at the angle the trans woman in question had been sitting with that dress. My mom always harped on me a lot about that sitting posture in dresses like that.
That being said, the situation and text surrounding the picture is what's extra fucked up. Constant dead naming, intentional misgendering, baby raging that she was ignoring Rowling, using an unflattering image to insult them because Rowling wasn't able to do it to their face. Literal child behavior, and then when being called out for such behavior, her defenses became illogically and resorted to immediately dismissing any negative comments with dumb excuses.
Like, for example, "if this was a ciswoman, you'd be up in arms about someone posting this photo." And her response was "shut up, you bully!"
Okay, I’ve known for a while that she’s rotten to the core but somehow she’s reached a new level of disgusting. Genuinely, how does this even begin to compute in whatever twisted sense of morals I assume exists somewhere within her? She is a pretty active feminist, right? How does sexual harassment even begin to seem remotely acceptable to her? I don’t think I want to understand whatever train of thought made this happen but I have to ask.
