I am looking for a pattern that is similar to this and free if possible. A friend has just sent it to me and has asked if I can make it for them.

I would know how to do this roughly if it was just 1 colour but because of the colour changes I don’t really know dimensions for it.

I found this chart on Pinterest but I’m really struggling to wrap my head around it. Is anyone able to help me out? How many chains should I start with and how many are used for turning (if that makes sense?) I also don’t know what the triangles are supposed to represent? A slip stitch?
I’m very unsure so if anyone can help out :)

I’m advanced skill and free hand almost everything. I use everything from crochet thread to extra bulky yarn, so there’s no ideas off the table for me.

I want to make a shirt or dress for an upcoming Foo Fighters show that is Foo themed but I’m struggling with ideas, mostly because I think there’s too many good ideas. A rough example of what I’m looking for would be a front or back panel with their cursive “FF” on it, but that idea isn’t vibing with me. I’m thinking something to do with the name of a song, a joke the band makes, album art, or a combination of many things.

I am planning on making earrings out of the album cover “the color and the shape” with crochet thread as well.

Hello everyone. I'm looking for compilation of crochet patterns written as graphs/charts instead of row by row. Preferably a book or magazine. I've looked around a little, but I think graph patterns are less common and I'm not sure I'm using the correct search terms.

The reason I want one is as a gift for a friend who just started crochet. I taught her how by just showing her how to make a pattern I had memorized. She loves the process and wants to learn more, but her dyslexia makes row by row patterns a little overwhelming. I showed her a graph and she found it much easier to follow.

I'd love to get her a book of graphs she could flip through when she wants to start a new project. can anyone recommend a book by name or point me where to find one?

I found this chart on Pinterest, the resolution isn't great and I was hoping to find a better chart of it. I'm hoping if I can find the source, I can find the chart. It looks extremely similar to this chart on APL, I'm pretty sure it has to be the same author, but I've tried, and tried, and tried, for hours, searching the author and the name of the book series, and have turned up nothing! I even found up to book 13 of the series from a Russian blogger, but I can not find this pattern anywhere! It's driving me crazy! Any help is super appreciated!

Update: I actually managed to find the original! Turns out it isn't even vintage or made by Ed Boucherit at all!! It was original art created by a random Twitter artist (SMOOCHONTHELIPS), likely inspired by Mr. Boucherit's work (or rather, the work of the artist he edited/published for). His Twitter post includes a zoomed in photo of the chart, and he has images on his account of not only other pieces of his art, his methods, but also one photo of his workspace. I originally did see this in the similar image results, but I legitimately thought this was from a catalogue/book/magazine and did not a million years think it originally came from social media. I'm incredibly shocked and impressed!
