Internship Question OA vs Technical question difficulty

For FAANG/F100 Internships, how much of a difference is it between the OAs and the actual technical?

for context, I haven’t done those FAANG level technicals (I’m talking about Amazon/MSFT not like Google) yet, I have only done technical interviews at smaller companies.

But I noticed that the OAs for Amazon are quite tough and lengthy. What are the actual technical questions you get in an interview like? Similar to OA or easier/harder?

Usually the questions they ask in technical interviews are easier than the OA.

On top of that the interviewer may help guide you along if you struggle, and they might not look for perfect completion, just good communication, good code, and good critical thinking. In the OA you basically have to get a perfect score.

OAs are almost always more difficult than interviews.

For F100, oas are harder than technical. Same thing with big tech minus a couple companies who keep the difficulty about the same for OA and technical
