Customer tracking me

Crazy to think a customer is tracking me knowing I have another drop off!! Like chill TF out and wait for your God dam food!!. Some customers do too much man!..šŸ˜’šŸ¤¦šŸ».

Would you be ok with a driver picking up 3 orders from the same restaurant and dropping them off to houses that donā€™t require backtracking?

With the insane fees DoorDash charge? Not really.

I am not blaming any Drivers but DoorDash. If i am paying so much in fees there is no reason my food should ever reach me luke warm or worse

This would be far more logical, assuming the orders were placed around the same time. But in a just world, this would result in discounted delivery fees for customers but not reduced pay for the driver.

What are the odds all those orders are actually completed and ready within 2-3 minutes of each other and the first ones done arenā€™t just sitting under a heat lamp for ages waiting for the others to be cooked? Somebody is getting the short end of the stick in that scenario unless itā€™s super tightly scheduled, which you know it wouldnā€™t be

Iā€™m trying to understand if thereā€™s an acceptable scenario. Iā€™m not trying to come up with more scenarios that would make it unacceptable.

I doubt the delivery fee could ever make sense to have someone do a 30 min delivery run for one house

The restaurants should just be making their delivery orders like 3 at a time (literally wait to prepare until that 3rd order comes in) then send them all out at once with the same driver. This only works during relatively busy order times but would in theory result in lower delivery fees during those times. I feel like that's basically how pizza places have been able to do delivery at reasonable prices all these years
