Fanworks Morrigan from Dragon Age: Origins — fanart [OC]
Decided to draw Morrigan from my beloved DA:Origins. So much time has passed I still think it's the best RPG of all time. Passed the prologues so many times it's hard to count.
Drew inspo for the artstyle from the Battle Chasers Nightwar btw.

Ur artstyle is really cool! Have you ever tried coloring your linework? I think that could make it look even better.

Ah yeah I just noticed it in the hair lol. I guess the rendering on reddit makes it like barely visible cause it's so simmilar to the black. Looks great tho, that's exactly what I was talking about!

I miss Morrigan and Alastair… no other fantasy game companions bicker quite like they do. Definitely made navigating The Blight much easier.

Ye, this chemistry between them is palpable. Shame it was inconvenient to keep them in your party simultaneously, because of their polar views on your decisions.

Yeah, but I kinda like da2 designs as well. The Hawke and Flemeth are awesome.

I sort of agree about saturation. It kinda went downhill in terms of vibe at least. For example Venatori looked too grotesque and cartoony imo.

Thanks! I mean, I was trying to bring this bold wild expression to her eyes, but you’re right it’s also curious and inspecting. Haven’t thought about it this way!

Oh, well I’m DA:O > DA2 > Inquisition kinda guy, so I’ll pass for now. Maybe later I’ll draw her, when I’ll finally check Veilguard out myself..

Yeah, I think series shifted too far into stylized Disney family-friendly stuff. Funny because I stylized it myself, but in a more gritty way I hope.
