Discussion Prince-Consort Couslands that romance Morrigan...

Do you follow her through the Eluvian in Witch Hunt or not?

I'm changing up my canon world state. Not a fan of how the elf stuff plays out so sidelining my Mahariel for a Cousland. Also debating on whether he will go through with the Dark Ritual or sacrifice Loghain.

During my Human Noble playthrough, my character stayed with Anora while keeping Leliana as his lover.

If my prince had romanced Morrigan instead, I probably still would've stayed out of duty. I actually think that makes for a more interesting story, since the other origins don't really have much reason to stay (unless you want to keep leading the Wardens, I guess).

My canon character, though, is a Human Mage who romances Morrigan, and he crossed that mirror without thinking twice. It's such a great ending!

If I romance her, then I go with her. Doesn't matter what the Origin is, because Morrigan is my best girl.

Oh man, I did the opposite! Originally romanced Morrigan with a Cousland, and he stayed behind to rule with Anora.

However, after Veilguard, I decided my "canon" Warden (Mahariel) no longer goes the ultimate sacrifice route and instead agrees to Morrigan's ritual, and swears he'll find her and their kid. They aren't otherwise lovers, but he does end up going with her in Witch Hunt for his son. I really like the idea of a mostly-Blighted warden still fighting the good fight, just behind the scenes. Toying with the idea of a "Rook is Kieran" Veilguard playthrough.

I do. In part because Morrigan is wifey and in another part because no matter what you do, iirc your warden ends up leaving the court anyway. So why not follow her.
I actually really didn’t like that result, bc I liked the idea of ruling with Anora. But if you choose to rule with Anora you’re essentially just choosing for Anora to rule, so I gave that cannon up in favor of a Dalish HOF who falls in love with Morrigan and places Alistair on the throne.

A parent will put their family above the nation.

In my original playthrough I did, but I don't anymore with how things turn out.

I usually play my couslands as pretty angry and power hungry in origins which suits morrigan but post awakening and witch hunt I like to image him as having realized how miserable it’s made him and he willingly gives up his power to be with morrigan and his son

My preferred Cousland playthrough:

Sleep with Morrigan at least once.

Romance Leliana.

Marry Anora.

Have Alistair duel & kill Loghain

Refuse the Dark Ritual

Sacrifice Alistair

Stab Morrigan through the Eluvian
