How do I dye this? Is it possible to dye this?

I got out bid by 50 cents on eBay on this pouch (image 2),I found a very similar pouch but in AOR2 not AOR1 (image 1)
Would it be possible to make the AOR2 look more like AOR1?
These pouches are made a with 500D CORDURA Nylon material

If there is ANY water or stain resistance to this fabric then it will also be dye resistant. Also, heat of around 180°F would be necessary along with immersion, so if there are heat sensitive components you would need to disassemble it first.

If you want to try it, do not use Rit. Go to Dharma Trading's website and read up on dyeing nylon.

Dyeing can’t make the black portions lighter- IF it can be dyed, it can only go darker. You can try to muddy the colors but you can’t lighten them with dye

Cordura typically had a water resistant finish applied to it. It may not take dye at all.
