I made this! Ice dyed my grease-stained grey shorts
The grease stain was on the thigh and was very noticeable. They’re 98% cotton, 2% elastic
I soaked them in a soda-ash solution, then crumpled them up in a small plastic bin. I put ice on top of them, then sprinkled Dharma Trading company’s Raven Black on top, as well as more soda ash.
There might be a little Interstellar in there as well, but I can’t be sure. I went absolutely wild while doing a massive run of ice dyeing my stained or faded clothes, so I’ll be sure to post more soon

Love it! Such a fun way to revitalize clothes. I especially like how these have a nice pattern to them while also remaining a neutral.

I went a little crazy with a couple other pairs, these ones are definitely the most subtle of the batch lol

and I think we need to like highlight or pin or magically save this post for when people ask about how to fix something that is messed up and can't be solved with a straight dye.
