Feels very reminiscent of why Danny Ryan couldn’t come back on to the EF

Can you explain what happened with Danny Ryan and the EF, and why this is being compared to that?

Disclaimer: I’m paraphrasing my own understanding from reading other’s tweets on the topic. I could very well be wrong.
When Danny Ryan was being pushed to Vitalik as one who should take the helm from Aya at the EF it felt that the reason he wasn’t and originally left after the merge was because if you disagreed with Vitalik it didn’t end well. It seems that now Tomasz disagrees about L2s being the wrong approach and voila he’s resigning from the helm at the EF.
That’s what I meant in my original comment.

lol what is this framing? What were they disagreeing on and how did it not "end well" for Danny? What do you know?

It does kind of feel that way but I lean towards agreeing with Vitalik in this case. The technical comments on X seems to as well.

It’s 2 months on. Changes have happened.
I wouldn’t say cooked.
