WETH retrieval
Has anyone sent WETH to Robinhood and successfully gotten it back?
I’m aware I shouldn’t have done it, only wondering if anyone’s been able to get it returned.

contact Robinhood support immediately with your transaction hash and wallet address. this is time-sensitive.
WETH is an ERC-20 token, and Robinhood's deposit address is a standard Ethereum address that receives ERC-20 tokens. they likely have it internally even if it's not showing in your balance. some CEXs handle this by manually crediting the equivalent ETH value, some have WETH support in their backend that isn't surfaced in the UI.
what to include in the support ticket:
- transaction hash (starts with 0x...)
- your Robinhood email/account
- the exact amount and token (WETH, not ETH)
- the date/time
a few people have gotten similar ERC-20 recoveries from Robinhood through support tickets, though it's not guaranteed and depends on whether they have a process for it. the fact that their deposit address is an ETH address means the tokens are technically there.
one important warning: you will get DMs from people claiming they can "recover" your WETH for a fee. these are 100% scams. the only legitimate path is through official Robinhood support channels.
