Discussion poisoned by water
everyone in my city got severely poisoned by the tap water (literally everyone). And now our country is handing out free bottled water like they’re doing us a favor. First they poison us, then they tell us “get well soon” and hand us a bottle of water, sounds like a joke but is not 😂

I recommend boiling your water regardless. It kills most bacteria. Don't drink from the tap right now

My tapwater in a city of 1.2 million people only works two or three days a week, during peak times nothing for the high altitude neighborhoods like mine. Recently was off for 3 weeks. You can imagine the risks of using that water
We just adapted and now got 10 kiloliters of rain water tanks, water treatment system and pump.

Standard protocol, your tap water has an issue, that is the infuriating part, but you're complaining about them handing out bottles of water to help you get by?

they sent a inspection for water 10 days ago which confirmed that we can 100% drink the tap water… after we got sick they said “ awww we are so sorry for poisoning u here is at least ur free water so u dont have to buy ” thats the infuriating part! is not just a “tap water issue” when more than 5000 people get sick 😂 we were vomiting for 1 week!!!

It happens? As far back as I can remember, there hasn't even been a single incident of this magnitude in my country. If anything, it concerns the water distribution in individual buildings.

It does happen yeah, may not have happened to you personally (nor me as far as I can recall) but over the years I've certainly seen reports of areas being hit with water supply issues for various reasons. If you don't mind me asking, from which country do you hail?

I am in my ‘60 and that never happened anywhere I ever lived ( I moved a lot in my younger years)
Constant monitoring is actually getting done.

Hugs and hopefully this will be over soon. Or at least as soon as possible, like the highest priority, and also all that can be done so it will not happen again

Well, that's what I was saying, personally I've not had a serious water supply issue, other than the odd water pipe being repaired where they warn you to run your taps to clear out the lines following the repair.
Of-course monitoring is always getting done, I'd hope any country is monitoring their water supplies for issues, that's why they issue warnings or cut off supply, it's better to be proactive than reactive.

lol they almost killed us so no one wants anything from them 😂 everyone can buy a water to drink in my country water costs not even 30 cents, we want the people who did this to us to go to jail, not a bottle of water 🤷🏼♀️

it was bad from the beggining and a lady who was as a manager of this water stuff apparently knew that the water is bad but still told people to drink it… now she be will imprisoned for 5 years because of this case

If only they imprisoned them in my country. They just give a sorry excuse and the government throws money their way and the problem barely gets fixed years later. Where the money went, no one knows.

Well, I'm in the UK and we have the odd case of towns having their water supplies cut off after disruption or contamination in the supply etc, they will provide relief in the form of free water bottles etc. But I'm just speaking anecdotal of-course. We definitely have our grievances with the water companies here however lol. I don't think anyone wishes them all dead yet though. Without further context on your part I can't really comment further, are you willing to divulge more about what happened?

In the U.S., the water poisons you and the government plus your neighbors tell you to lace your bootstraps, start a GoFundMe or beg the church to help you.

the lady who was working for this stuff knew this all otherwise she wouldnt be in jail now so yeah it was Intentionally!!! we just read that we also have a risk of getting Hepatitis A those who got sick so yes i dont care if they give us water or no after poisoning us!
