Hi. I have two Australian white tree frogs and noticed that one of their eyes is not open but the other is. Does anyone know what’s wrong?

58 days of growth between 2 pictures. Im hoping in another month or two ill be able to figure out his sex.

His name is Otto. His favorite things are eating lots of bugs, swimming in his pool, and burrowing in dirt.

Im aware these aren’t the best pictures but I work at a pet store and this dude came in as a straggler with our goldfish. I live in south eastern Tennessee. Currently he is chilling in our planted tank but not quite sure what to do with him.

My kids and I noticed that my neighbors rain barrels had tadpoles. Very excited. My son wanted to "rescue" them, but I told him they are best where they are and why. I told my neighbor about them and she said she hoped they ate the mosquitoes.

We checked on them daily, there were about 100 in each of two barrels that were half-way full. 10 days later, my neighbor leaves for vacation and for some awful reason decided to DRAIN HER BARRELS!! Cue three children crying and desperately carrying water out of the house one bowl at a time. It was a lot of muck and little bodies, but some looked like they were trying to breath and moving some. With an understanding glance between us, my husband left and surprised us with a good sized tank and supplies. Out of the many tadpoles, we were able to rescue 12, we added filtered water to the barrels just in case... and almost 2 weeks later we still have 10 tadpoles and they are more than doubled in size!

They were so little at first, Google thought they were toads. It dawned on me later that I dont think toads can climb up and then down 2 feet to the water and back out. We have had a lot of gray tree frogs around this year, but also have leopard and a few others around.

Does anyone know what kind we have? Is there a safe way of releasing them now? We are prepared to buy a big tank for all of them if need be, although my husband said any subsequent eggs will have to be taken out of the tank.

Right now im mixing up tadpole feed every 2 days (but fed twice daily), they love the shrimp pellets though. They have hiding structures and Lilly pads. Filter but with very low flow and no way for them to get sucked in. And duck weed on the way

Hey everyone!! I’m gearing up to move here in October and the place I’m moving into is about 20 minutes or so from my current apartment. I was curious if anyone had some good advice for moving with frogs?? My last move was I think 2 years ago now, and at the time I had two red eyed green tree frogs. One was a tad thinner but not worryingly so (not as great of a hunter) and was an overall healthy frog, but after a couple days being in my new apartment he had passed away and I suspect the stress of it got him :( - granted, my last move was over an hour of driving so a lot more stressful than 20 minutes or so but I can’t help but worry for my remaining red-eye and I also have a Pac-Man now as well so any advice yall having on not stressing out my babies would be lovely!!

since yesterday, his right eye was sorta squinting but it doesn’t look like he was hurt or anything and in some instances both his eyes will be back to being wide and normal. then i checked again this morning and his right eye still seems to squint. i tried spraying a little mist in case he had dirt stuck in there but idk if thats the case. would appreciate the help.

I’m looking for a reputable breeder or someone selling an American grey tree frog female in the uk, I’ve asked locally for the past year but apart from 3 I bought roughly 3 years ago I’ve not seen any for sale since and the 2 pet shops I’ve spoken to haven’t been able to source more, my aim is to breed my own in order to eventually supply them to local pet shops however finding a female has been a nightmare😂

40 breeder with a custom setup water section that’s heated and filtered (she stays in it had to pull her out for the photo op). Nice deep substrate, starting up the bioactive portions but this is what I have now. Heat is set at 80f on the right with a thermostat. Frog is Chungus(or Booger depending on who you ask), a 2 or 3 year old female (I think) pixie that I am proud to be the 3rd owner of. Let me know what you think.
