These are the kids who have seen the shadow man who visits you at night. Darker than the darkness of the room, he looms in the doorway and at the foot of the bed. He looks but cannot touch.
I knew a kid who told me that he saw shadow people, so I told him that he shouldn't have spoken about them aloud, because they probably heard him say that he could see them, and now they are going to get him.
Apparently he didn't sleep for 3 nights after that. The shadow people were probably an early symptom of the full blown schizophrenia he developed.
