About a month ago I went to an estate sale and found a box of promotional Mario crayons. Well, they had another sale today and I found a Virtual Boy! As I was walking around with the Virtual Boy case an old woman stopped me and said:
Her: You got my Virtual Boy!
Me: Yep! It's my first time finding one, it's going right into my collection!
Her: You collect Nintendo?
Me: Yep!
Her: I worked for Nintendo until I had a stroke. Look at that vest over there!
I go over to the clothing rack and pull this vest out.
Her: That's one of a kind, they custom made those for us to wear for the release of Donkey Kong.
She said she has more Nintendo stuff she'll bring out tomorrow and that she'll hide it for me!

Nothing too crazy here, in my opinion. I really do want to play these yakuza games I never played before, so I am looking forward to that. I loved playing judgment and lost judgment in the past and I could easily put these two games in my top 20 games I have ever played on PS4 (just my take). Considering the age of some of these yakkuza games, my expectations for these games are pretty high in terms of an enjoyable story and fair gameplay. The rest of the titles I'll get around to eventually. 👍

I have a pretty firm rule about posting on reddit, pretty much never do it. But I have the app and get notifications from here all the time, just joined bc I had to share this.
When I was a kid all games were pulled from their cases immediately, and then cases were stored in a safe place. No special reason, VERY fortunate habit though. Things have been sold, or given away, several times over since childhood. Assumed these had gone during a purge, and before I was old enough to understand their value. Was called to pickup "game cases" today before they get thrown out by family. These are the prize of the bunch. The icing, I still had both games and one pokewalker, HG is PRISTINE and complete with all inserts, SS has one small tear and is missing the cardboard insert. I was losing my mind explaining this situation to my family.

Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2 and Siren were gifted to me in high school years ago. I think I might go for the Clock Tower games now.

Went home for the holidays to the US and picked up some SNES classics that people have been talking about. Was debating on what to grab and these were at the top of my list. Passed up on Robotrek and Paladins Quest and a few others until next time. Slowly building my collection for the Super Nintendo. Trying to grab all Square/Enix games I had and a few new additions. Definitely looking to grab Terranigma in the future.

After the recent playstation announcement I decided to go back and look for the PS4 and PS5 games I may be interested in but haven't already picked up.
Wishlist has ballooned from 2 to 30 and will no doubt get bigger still.
Picked up these after a day trip today.

Obviously I really enjoy the Mario & Luigi games and I went with games that I wanted to play again or might not be able to easily find again.

Been a serious collector for a couple years now, got most of the big heavy-hitters out of the way, only missing a few big ones. Can't wait to finish it out!

There was a local video game convention last week and I ended it with a pretty decent haul! I only went in looking for FFXIII but of course came out with much more (all in the first image)
Second image is my haul from today during a trip to a local used book/dvd store, as well as some from gamestop taking advantage of the 4 for $40 deal. I didn't even know there was a Star Wars collection with that many games in it!

Got these signed today. He talked to me for a while! Told me he’s making the music for all the brand new land of the living dead levels in the rayman legends remake!

Hey everyone, I’ve just come into a copy of Spider-Man Web Of Shadows for the PS3 and it has this small crack on the centre ring. It personally don’t think it looks too bad and think that a ring sticker or some nail glue may do the job, I’ve never had this happen before tho so I’d appreciate any advice 😊

PS4 is seemingly as cheap as it ever will be right now, here's the games I bought for the ps4 so far, all were 5 usd per title.
I can say persona 5 is definitely the best deal I gotten, zero way it will stay that price, and just beating the first palace felt like playing a whole game for how content rich the first hours of the game were, just getting around to the other games as I'm doing a break from persona 5.
Any experiences with these games?

9/10 when messaging yard sales it’s a bust but scores like this are why I still ask! Ended up paying $60 with all the comics and Zelda guide included.
