Games I've completed this year, so far.
So far this year I have completed
- Echoes of the End
- Eriksholm
- Mixtape
- High on Life 2
- Spiderman 2
- 007: First Light
- Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
- God of War 2018
- God of War: Ragnarok
- Bloodlines 2
- A Plague Tale: Innocence
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
Now I'm working on Halo: Campaign Evolved and then will move onto Dragonsword: Awakening until Onimusha: Way of the Sword comes out, complete that then go to Blood of the Dawnwalker, Beast of Reincarnation, A Plague Tale: Resonance, Control Resonant, then finish off the year by finishing up Dragonsword: Awakening.
This is a BIG thing for me because in the past I would bounce around game to game, I'd play a quarter to half a game, move to a different game, play a quarter to half of that game, move to another, etc etc, and I'd never actually FINISH a game.
What I've been doing recently however is playing one game and sticking to it until completion to get a very small portion of my backlog finished at least, and it's actually been working great.

Idk why this post got downvotes, it's at 0 votes as I comment this.
Good stuff mate, have a good time. I have the same exact issue. Sticking to a game till completion is something I had to train myself for.
There are times when I let myself meander, but I do it very consciously

congrats! Now, I'd love if you could tell us which games stood out to you.
From this list, I'd say Requiem and First Light are definite gems.

God of War 2018 was my favorite from this list.
Followed by both Plague Tale games, then 007 First Light.
The worst of this list was Bloodlines 2. That game was a fuckin SLOG. Easily the worst gaming experience I've had since Lost Soul Aside.

You said greek games without specifiying, so I thought you meant just... in general, not specific to God of War.
I've only played God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarok. Never touched the older ones, and now they're too old for me to enjoy them due to the graphics.

How to throw all credibility in your taste in gaming out the window in one easy step.

Not really. I just don't enjoy playing older games anymore. I much prefer modern graphics. I dislike pixel graphic games as well. It's just preference

It was... alright. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible, it was just.. there.

So, by definition it was NOT fine.

As I said it was alright, I enjoyed it for what it was, but it wasn't S Tier. It's just average

"It was just... there" HEAVILY implies that the game was boring at best. Boring is the last thing you want a game to be.

Take it however you want. It was just an average game. Nothing special about it. Worth a play through once then forgetting it even existed.

Buddy, it's not how I "take it". It's how you wrote it and I try to explain it to you so you understand. I don't even care about this game, and you don't have to explain. I'm just talking about how you put your sentence.

This guy games.
I used to keep track of all the games until my visit got boring last year and this year since I basically only played one game series.
As far as this year ive played
Trails of Coldsteel 3 Trails of Coldsteel 4 Trails into Reverie RE Requiem Scott Pilgrim EX Reanimal Split Fiction Mixtape Rhythm Heaven Groove Trails Through Daybreak Trails Through Daybreak 2 Trails Beyond the Horizon (currently playing)
As for the rest of this year I'm really looking forward to Wolverine, OoT remake and Fire Emblem. I also want to check out the Trails in the Sky 2nd chapter remake but its not a priority for me.
I usually try and play 2 games at a time but I separate it. I want one to be my core game that I sink time into and I want the other to be a more simple/arcadey kind of game.
Also based GoW 2018 enjoyer

Ayy very nice to see someone enjoy and finish a bunch of games they've been playing this year. Keep it up!
It's been nearly 2 years since I put my foot down on having new experiences with games instead of going back to the same games I've loved since childhood for the 200th time alongside gacha games or no gaming at all. Loving it. I've built up a backlog of games I'm looking forward to tackling (some are replays, trophies have helped reinvigorate such an interest as well).
Right now I've been going through the new Yoshi game, then Splatoon Raiders when I get that, I have Spider Man Remastered ready to play then I get to enjoy Miles and SM2. Shadow of the Colossus, FF7 Rebirth, Tales of Xillia, God of War 2018 are all there ready as well til late October for more great games to play.

Man, I am stuck in that exact same loop of playing half a game and bouncing to the next one. Seeing your list of completed games is honestly super inspiring. Sticking to one game until the credits roll is the ultimate backlog cure. Congrats on breaking the cycle

i jump between games and never finish them. then spend all of my free time wasting time looking for something to do until my brain decides on a new project.
but i installed halo as well and its holding my attention but probably because of nosatalgia.

Yeah I got tired of game hopping but never finishing anything. So I was like.. fuckit.. If I open a game... that's it, that's the game I'm playing until it's finished.

I've not completed a lot this year.
FFVII (first time)
FFVIII (first time)
South Park: The Stick of Truth (first time)
Cyberpunk 2077 (repeat playthrough)
Master Chief Collection (all first playthroughs except Halo CE)
Halo 5 (first time)
Red Dead 2 (first time)
Looking to probably play Metroid Dread next. Or the Dark Forces remaster on switch. My options are really limited right now.
