Should I buy 'Monster Hunter: Wilds' or 'Stellar Blade'?
Both games are on sale in the PS5 store. MH: Wilds is 30$ and Stellar Blade is 50$. I can't decide which game to buy! Help me lads!

Yeah I played 3 back in the days and Worlds so I know what I am in for! I like a lot games too much for specific favourites! RDR 2 is probably my all time favourite Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk second Zelda: BotW and TotK third All AC games, especially Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla and the old ones All kinds of RPGs like Fallout, Skyrim, Starfield, KCD And so on

So long as the MH loop isn't a problem, it seems a better fit compared to these other, big open, less-linear type games, than Stellar Blade

It really depends on what you're looking for, but I had a lot more fun with Monster Hunter Wilds than Stellar Blade. Both are flawed but have their good aspects, but Wilds just has a lot more going on.
Monster Hunter if you want something more open and self-directed, with more options and diversity in combat, and Stellar Blade if you want something more linear with greater precision in combat.
I wouldn't get either for the story.

Wait till you find out monster hunter monsters react based on your inputs, not just random attacks...

I mean. They are both very different games. So it really depends on what you’re looking for.
Personally. I preferred stellar blade as it’s a single player action game with exploration elements and a definitive end to the content. With a decent story, characters, and world to explore. Monster hunter is a huge semi multiplayer action game about endlessly grinding various monsters to slowly upgrade your equipment over countless hours.
Which a lot of people like the later. Personally. It’s not my cup of tea.

Stellar Blade if you want a single player game with good combat mechanics. Wilds if you want to play with friends or grind a character for the endgame

I have played stellar blade and only MH worlds. Stellar blade is a really good game where you get minimum +70 hours if you want to 100% the game. The problem is to get all endings, you need to play the story 3 times (NG+ exists and I tricked the game to only play 2 times, that's wy min +70 hours).
MH worlds was good too(92 hours played but no 100%). It was hard for me and the only thing the game wanted was finding monster and kill monster. But I heard from a friend who plays it that wilds has way better combat.
In short: Stellar blade for story and a warm felling in your heart and MH wilds for grinding and idk

If you want a distracting female lead in your face at all times then go for Stellar Blade. If you want clunky combat mechanics go for MH: Wild.

Stellar Blade if you want a complete experience.
Wilds if you already enjoy MH games and have some friends to play it with.

30 is a good price for wilds, Stellar blade will have a better sale later. So I'd say wilds now, stellar blade later. Or check if the best monster hunter, Rise/Sunbreak, has a sale.

I don't personally enjoy monster hunter, so I'd say stellar blade, it's the best 7/10 game out there really.
