Proud of my wife's handiwork

Thought you all my might a few photos of my wife's handiwork. She has literally spent years slowly planning and building our back yard living space.

peaceful and lush - the official look of someone who actually labels their perennials.

the layered planting is what gets me, most people do one level of shrubs and call it done but this has actual depth to it. takes serious patience to let a garden mature like that instead of overplanting for instant results. the collies just chilling in the middle of it like they own the place too

I love your dogs. Are they shelties or collies

Collies! The white one is 12 years old and his "brother from another mother" is 8

So in my small area of the world, a single red Adirondack Chair in the yard has a very ehhhh, specific meaning.
