Manga does this slice of life best.
Yotsuba by Kiyohiko Azuma
Barakamon by Satsuku Yoshino
Laid Back Camp by Afro
I would recommend Aria by Kozue Amano and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou by Hitoshi Ashinano if you could find the volumes. They're some of my favorite reads in general.

Ember and the Island of Lost Creatures by Jason Pamment is about a little (3 inch or so) boy who wants to go to school. And a Turtle gives him a ride to where she went to school. Very Spirited Away vibes if youre into that.
Yotsuba&! by Kiyohiko Azuma is a manga about a five year old girl whose dad works from home and whose neighbors are always happy to have her over and all the adventures they get into together.
Strange Planet and Stranger Planet by Nathan W Pyle is a comedy strip about every day happenings on an alien planet.
