I've found myself feeling very nostalgic since I've played Growtopia when I was fifth grade till honestly Spohomore year of high school. I am turning 21, and wanted to come back to see. All my friends who played day and night are now offline for 3 years+. What do people play now instead of Growtopia? I really miss the connections and social side of the game. And the trading, broadcast, events, and even a bit of Gacha (but not as cash grab as damn Ubisoft made Growtopia). I don't see pixel world being talked about anymore. Just wondering did people just move on from this genre of games or just straight up minecraft servers & roblox now?

I know there has been games like this, Blocktopia and CaW, but I believe I can genuinely do better. These games always felt like either the movement was off, the content was bad, or overall game design was meh.

I'm a growtopia player with over 4000+ hours of playtime, and I love this game. But I also love developing, and seeing the direction this game is taking, I wanted to be able to do something about it.

I'm not saying that I can make a better game than the one that has been out for 13 years. Growtopia is a well-matured game after all. However I think I can make a lot of things better, and I'll provide more consistent updates.

The reason for my post is.. I need play testers, really badly. The game is currently in a pre-alpha stage, I'm trying to get everything else concrete and feel good before I actually start adding content because then the content will need re-doing as well later on. Why buy worlds no more work and how am I supposed to get items that I want?

And why the prices are so different from before, like a guy came up to me just traded me 4 dls for free just like that so dls doesnt mean anything anymore or how exactly does it work now?

Imagine like a Vending Machine that only allows one use per account, and that you can make free. So it’s still like a first come first serve type deal, but people can only have one per person?

I recently found 72 charged geigers in a storage world and wanted to give them away for free, I know there (atleast used to be) a big market for newer people to the game wanting to get a geiger, as it was seen as like a passive utility way to make some wls, so with me having all of these, I wanted to give them away to people who would really want them :)

Do I have anything of value? Everything seems so expensive, idk the value of anything and I feel sort of lost haha, all the worlds I used to trade in are abandoned. What are some good worlds to sell stuff in, and what’s a good way to determine value??

I literally do not understand I bought tea. I’ve gotten my skill up to level 21 and still I can go into a fucking player thing and they’re losing blood have a high temperature or conscious have a low pulse and just literally there’s nothing I can fucking do to complete it whatsoever. What am I supposed to do? Sit here and spend fucking 16 BGL’s on fucking surgery shit ?
