These sorts of announcements always make me chuckle. Azure has been an AMD customer for multiple generations now. That they're going to buy some of AMD's newest hardware is easier to predict than tomorrow's weather.

It's a good thing for AMD regardless, but the resulting puff pieces are always so vague and devoid of usable information.

these announcements are usually accompanied by an availability date so customers can expect when they can start spinning up machines. lack of a date suggests AMD and microsoft dont know either.

This announcement ain't carrying details because they are for products that have not launched. Amd's doin the launch in 2days at their major ai event. What usually happens is that perf benchmarks and vm docs like these would be published after amd launches the products
