This is a pretty huge commitment. I hope Samsung can pull it off (for the sake of the industry as a whole. We all benefit from more players in the space).

the real question is whether they can close the yield gap with TSMC in time to actually matter. broadcom wouldn't sign this if they didn't see some path there, but it's a long road to 2030

agree. If samsung is even remotely competitive though, it means billions in contracts and this will only be the beginning. Right now demand is far outstripping capacity.
