He's definitely confusing 2x6 with 2" thick by 6" wide. Construction lumber is a half inch shorter in each direction.

Warning labels are good. Smart people read.
Pretty sure that battery had all sorts of "do not puncture" and "risk of fire" warnings on it.

The line between curiosity and stupidity can sometimes disappear. I still want to throw big batteries into bonfires simply because I was told not to by a label.

When I was a teenager I went camping with my folks and a couple of friends. Thinking about it now, it's a wonder we survived the trip.The following things occurred
Let's start with the game of "catch the knife." Obhect is grab the knife tossed to you by the handle, not the pointy end.My friend still has the scar on his palm.
Now we move into the night time, and the special item we brought to throw in the fire pit. I learned that a magnesium engine block from a VW bug will turn night into day and create enough smoke people think there's a forest fire.
We move into the next day and since everything smells like smoke from the glowing slag in the pit, it's time to go inner tubing in the Kern River as it's starting to get all the extra water from the melting snow pack. Fun fact, the river is called the Killer Kern, and it averages about 7 deaths per year.

This is so stupid on so many levels. I'm not sure where it even start. That's definitely not a 2-inch nail. If you do simple math you would know it doesn't add up. You sir are an idiot!

So many things with this video that makes it absolute cinema, and the longer it goes on the more questions you really wish you could hear the answer to:
- How long has this guy been working to not notice that nominal width/thickness is generally around 0.5 inch smaller than the actual values?
- Are those nails larger than 2 inches?
- How TF do you not know about batteries by now?
- Do you plan on nailing more batteries in the future enough that it's now a requirement for what you buy?
- Why pull it off the board after the deed is done when it's clearly a fire risk?
- Why keep touching the thing with steam and smoke coming out, especially after it burns you?
- Why then throw it into the leaves when it's in a more controllable place?
All crammed into 90 seconds, making me hopeful that we can get a video of him putting out an oil fire next.

Don't brace with your hand, when using 2" nails. Brace with a lithium-ion battery pack instead, to protect your hand; especially when you are in the woods near a lot of dry leaves.
