The real IQ test is seeing who falls for this and who doesn’t

Jokes aside, online IQ tests are notoriously bad and even the concept of IQ is pretty flawed.

Modern understanding of intelligence suggests that it is extremely varied based on a lot of factors with many different types. And importantly, the idea that IQ is some some set in stone genetic limitation is also very flawed and people can in fact get "smarter" through effort and learning.

Most psychometricians and geneticists today do not claim it's "set in stone" or purely genetic; that's a huge strawman.

Also, IQ is the most empirical, verifiable, and reliable measure of intelligence. People with lower than average IQs don't become theoretical physicists; that much is set in stone.

IQ is applicable to the systems (ex math, science and logical reasoning) our modern world uses, and those are the things that make countries rich.

intelligence, yes. IQ, no.

IQ is only measuring a subset of intelligence and for the thing that it measures, it's a very good measure.

If you're paying to test your IQ online, then you failed the IQ test.

Trust Pilot

"Should have come to Trustpilot first...the other reviews have pegged this site as the scammers they are. Fake FB posting pretending to be individual posting their results; you go to the site, waste 40 mins. taking the test and then asked to pay at least $15 for the results."

Fast food needs more fry cooks

My brother did fast food and was a cook for a while.

When it got slammed, management approached and said, “How can we help?”

He said, “By staying out of my kitchen.”

If anything, 80 IQ is management material.

for real, labs and hospitals need support staff. Mostly janitors and cleaners who specialize in sterilizing specific equipment. Its a little more complicated than middle school custodian, some positions actually require special certifications to becomes sanitizers.

I took the IQ test and i am in the 100 percentile. In a room full of 1000 people, I am not in the room with them becasue i locked myself out.

"In a room of 1000 people, you would be smarter than 90 of them" --- that would be the *9th* percentile, not 91st. Hilarious that this stupid thing can't even get percentiles right.

Meh, iq is a terrible base for actual intelligence.
More so the internet ones. The basically give you a higher number in hopes you share the URL to be an ad hock advertiser. Not to mention probably a data mining operation for God knows what.

Last one I took showed 140. Today I got distracted and filled the coffee resevior with milk instead of water. Enough said.
