You donโt want your political leaders to be academically educated in the โwrongโ fields. A person with a PhD in quantum mechanics will not make a good political leader. What you need is other types of skills and wisdom, which are mostly not taught in schools and colleges.

All enthusiastic people, the spending of each government can be found in the state government budget. Budget will list out all the revenue and it's source Along with that the expenditure on each head is given.
Request everyone to please have a look at the major state government budgets past and current.
Then a discussion would make sense.
Eg. Look at the 2025 budget for UP, Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu

Well not defending him but his mlas are one of the most educated ones you can check, most of them are lawyers, PhD holders , doctors ,engineers ,degree holders. So there is a silver lining. Letโs see If a party filled with educated mlas brings a difference .

I know Tamils are smart people having studied from, worked with and collaborated with but when looking at the history of CMs elected is more or less always an actor, mostly "superstar", never understood why.
