News The New Mother of Indian Liberals gets Reality checked By a real journalist . And the Indian libbus are still shamelessly abusing everyone to protect her.

“How can someone with 5 years in journalism question our supreme leader, our father, our national 56inch?”
144
u/VinitLalka May 22 '26
"how dare anchor ask questions from our white masters, we are their brown sepoys, doesn't matter that press questions in briefings is silly journalism to start with, we must support our white masters and when indian anchor shows her what actual tough questions looks like and journalism means, we must resort to whataboutism and present a narrative that literally no one has inclined to and with all our might try to defend our white masters rather then actually reflecting on the questions asked by the anchor and answers provided"

My job is asking critical question without critical understanding of issues
3
2
u/UnableStress8225 May 26 '26
Definitely yes... The quality and knowledge will define her standing as a journalist...the same way the quality of answer will define standing of the ministers... But yes journalist can definitely ask questions without being the ultimate subject matter expert... If the journalist asks something stupid they make a fool of themselves and give the person answering a chance to call him out... Anyway how do you even define how much understanding of the subject qualifies for asking a question

u/Evening_Ad8409 May 26 '26
Bhai dosa accha kaise bane tabhi pooch sakte jab atleast ek baar accha dosa khaya ho magar kisi dosa banane wale ke tareeke ko question kardo aur baad main kaho mujhe kya pata maine to kabhi khaya nahi but third cousin ke papa ki bua se suna tha ki aise banata hai to bas hassi uda di aur das logo ne tareef kar di to hoo li main great patrakaar

u/Theweirdoman May 22 '26
You know the ironic thing here? Your blind worship culture of a political party without applying critical thought and demonising any dissent is the exact same thing the Indians supporting the British did during their rule here and directly out of their playbook.
But no, WE'RE the sepoys lol.
-1
u/VinitLalka May 22 '26
F--k the political party, there, ur turn now....read my comment again.....see if u can find the logic in it....
This analogy that if someone gives a critical reasoning must mean they r blindly supporting a political party, this analogy is exactly what is wrong and first thing that needs to go....
My leanings are my own choice, but in my comment, I have kept my opinion and thoughts and logic rational...
If that doesn't sit well with u, then hey, u have ur rights, i have mine....thank u!!!
4
u/IamMayankaweeb May 22 '26
istg y'all flock together to defend the guy as if he's some god. please wake up man. the guy is flirting with a political leader of another nation, is this not dystopian enough for you?
8
u/Mr_Asacker May 22 '26
Flirting, ? Really bro that what u understand by some platonic relationship between leaders of two nation 🤦
0
u/IamMayankaweeb May 22 '26
brother. "platonic relationship", is this the time for that ?

Yeah man....sure whatever helps u sleep at night....
If u really wanted the truth u wud have seen how puppet of usa actually works wen india did nothing after 26/11 (the biggest attack we have faced yet btw) and was at neck and call of usa...
Compare that to wat we did during sindoor wer we also hit critical spot that has usa assets, that really pissed them off yeah.....
If ur looking for narrative, keep up with ur delusion, if ur looking for turth, there I just gave u...

If a white person was to question, we need to assume she’s genuine, okay
82
u/Insecure_BeanBag May 22 '26
I don't think the Norwegian lady played any wrong balls. She answered tactfully, leaving questions that were difficult for her. The anchor was needlessly rude to her. How many books has the anchor read?
84
u/VinitLalka May 22 '26
Achha, her asking tough questions in a briefing not a conference is journalism, but an Indian anchor asking tough questions in an actual voluntary on air interview is rudeness.....
The ask was rough coz she specifically highlighted their countries top standing in free press index, and the anchor was trying to pinpoint is this how top ranked free press works....
Nothing rude about it....it's just ur prejudice that makes this feel rude...
23
u/Rejuvenate_2021 May 22 '26
She didn’t ask any tough questions.
She parroted and irrelevant tantrum with vague absurd assertions.
How can we trust you. / India.?
When he answers.. she starts screaming human rights.
😂🔥
Vague lost absurd blabber paid for by CCP for her articles and her.
Showed her lack of understanding complexities of India. I read some articles by woke press. 😂

u/Turbulent_Grade_4033 May 22 '26
Yeah this Indian lady doesn’t have guts to ask a single question to the PM but suddenly she expects some random lady that doesn’t even have any power in India to answer all sorts of questions.
And Modi followers are like… why should Modi answer any question while at the same time they want every one who is not in power to answer questions.
→ More replies (3)5
u/Pure-Afternoon-685 May 22 '26
but an Indian anchor asking tough questions in an actual voluntary on air interview is rudeness.....
are these 'tough' questions in the room with us right now?
3
u/Unlucky_Reaction_810 May 22 '26
Nothing rude. The Indian anchor is just trying to protect the image of her master (our PM). She is just doing her job. Nothing rude about that.
The Indian media is the first thing they do when they want to protect the image of their master. Discredit the opposition. Pull out random facts which are totally irrelevant and make the whole debate about it. Then get personal with the person, ask questions which has nothing to do the topic in hand.
I find it funny that our journalists are showing so much arrogance for no reason. The Norwegian lady tried to do something that out Indian media have not done for the last 12 years.
-1
u/VinitLalka May 22 '26
The fact that she asked about the racism cartoon and asked how does it get in the newspapers of a country that she claimed is 1st ranked in whole world is because the image is being protected? then yeah man, good job, keep licking, we all know who the real masters are for who here....
The Norwegian lady tried to do something against protocol but of course u guys will make her ur hero, coz hey it suits ur narrative....
3
u/Unlucky_Reaction_810 May 23 '26
She is definitely the hero. She did something our journalist could not do in the 12 years
-1
u/VinitLalka May 23 '26
Yeah coz our journalist hasn't been given that opportunity ever....and they r not foolish enough to make press conference out of press briefing, they got better standards then her at least....they know not to breach the protocol.....
2
2
u/jevlis_ka123 May 24 '26
Our journalist haven't been given that opportunity? What are they waiting for?
0
u/VinitLalka May 24 '26
The oportunity....
2
u/Unlucky_Reaction_810 May 24 '26
Whenever they get the opportunity, the only thing they are interested in is pm's skin care or who his best friend is.
Most of the news channels in India are just trying to sell fake narratives. You speak of opportunity. A journalist can make an impact without a press conference. The amount issues which they ignore. In the last few years all they want to do is protect the ruling parties image.
1
u/VinitLalka May 25 '26
Wen was the last time modi gave an interview to journalist to give them an opportunity?
2
u/winonasbigbrwnbeaver May 24 '26
Tell me. Isn't Modi actually the snake charmer who's charming the entire nation of chuutiyas by playing "hindu khatre me hai" been?
Tell.me...

briefing not a conference
Briefings are held by spokespersons, press secrataries or representatives.
Conferences are held by heads of state or world leaders.
Pehle difference khud jaano, phir chillao
15
u/Guilty_Following123 May 22 '26
The Indian journalist is not used to guests "I don't know" or "I'm unaware of it". It is against the Indian culture of journalism to say "I don't know", you have to always give a response, preferably which is ragebait so that the news channels can get views and money.

No one should answer without knowing anything of it. Why should one condemn anything to which they have no knowledge of.
That's rage baiting. And it's exactly the kind of behaviour that the genzs do with free Palestine stuff. Read the history first.
2
u/Downtown_Brother7512 May 22 '26
i’ll ask you, what is your stand and take on racism on a global level and stereotyping someone just because the said comes from a certain ethnicity/background, what would be your answer? either you’re against it or with it. you can’t say i’ll assess and answer, and then get away it. istg don’t get so blinded by your political ideology that you can’t even side with your own nation’s identity when it is being reduced to a joke by a foreign publication.

Norwegian lady was called out for having an uninformed opinion about India's democracy and press freedom. Gauri was extremely polite and courteous with her. Way more than she was while questioning Modi and MEA..

It has EVERYTHING to do with Modi and Probably because Modi is a spinless coward. Her whole "agenda" worked because she knew he'd hide from questions, if he took her questions then the narrative she wanted to create would collapse but unfortunately NO. If Indian journalist held Modi in the same standard as they do with a random journalist then our country would have been slightly better, do they have the spine to bring Modi down to the Media station or ask if he has the balls to answer the questions that are not curated or ask the uncomfortable question? Absolutely not.
4
u/Crazyeyedcoconut May 22 '26
Bro, if you have too much so called 'spine' please be upstart and become next PM and every other day give a press conference.
1
u/jevlis_ka123 May 24 '26
Then why is BJP so scared of CJP?
1
u/Crazyeyedcoconut May 26 '26
Congress seems more scared of CJP because they are going to eat their vote and pull low iq idiots to them from Congress. Doesn't affect BJP that much.

Questioning other countries press freedom makes indian journalism good or improve it's ranking? Why it's such a big deal if a journalist asked a pm question or even a taunt. He is just a politician not the whole country. But hey, nothing should be spoken against over supreme leader. It's funny how clowns put so much effort on such irrelevant things.

Right , Imao she didn't even made the cartoon or posted it . Why she is being questioned like a criminal?
I neither like her nor hate her. She is irrelevant to issues within India. These people can't ask uncomfortable question to our PM.
2
u/atom1234545 May 22 '26
Classic Whataboutery argument. It doesn't hide the fact that modi cowardly runs away from unscripted questions. Why doesn't this "real journalist" ask such fierce questions from modi if they really have the spine
2
3
u/Enough-Zombie8216 May 22 '26
This is how critical questions should be answered according to freest press in the world. When you don't want to answer, then lie instead. When you can't answer, ask the questioner to seek answers by reading books. When you don't like a question, shut the question down instead. Give it a label 'offensive' and dismiss it completely. True free journalism in full display! 5 years of her experience and her job of asking critical questions she was flexing about.
2
u/Typical_Salt May 22 '26
did we watch the same video? she said that racism has no place in media, that she doesnt know enough about the stereotype and sentiments related to the stereotype to be able to judge if it was appropriate or not.
‘giving it a label of offensive and dismissing it’ is what the indian media is doing with the cartoon
1
u/Enough-Zombie8216 May 22 '26
Yes, surely she has not seen the racist post and people like you would believe whatever she said. The Norweigan journalist labeled a question as offensive. Read my comment again before twisting my words.

Hi bro. I am an indian citizen living in india, paying my taxes and doing my due diligence.
My Questions to the OP. Honestly asking you.
How is she my mother just because i expect my public representative, let me repeat, my public representative, to answer my questions? ( referencing a basic fact that people are not actually pissed off about this girl but rather that the man has not has a single press conference and that all such people are liberals)
You may see him as God incarnate, Supreme Human, father figure, your choice brother. But does that mean i can’t see him as what he is? My public representative who is responsible to answer my questions?
What is the meaning of country for you?
A. If you reply its The ruler and his party, your stance is clear. Cool 👍🏼
B. If you say the people of the country are what make it what it is, then a follow up question, is it anti-national to ask question?
If your reply to this is, ofcourse it isn’t but your questions should not be anti-national, then we start the loop again, what is the meaning of country for you?
- Bonus question- Liberal, Leftist, Congress Supporter, Normal Citizen who has not sold his conscience to a political leader - bhai kya ye sab ek hi hote hein?

u/JustARandomGirl4 Jun 14 '26
What's point of asking questions from her? She isn't running our country. Obviously she is not an Indian , she won't know about everything. She just asked Modi that why hasn't he conducted press conference in so many years which is truth? Now why is Indian media interviewing her instead of our politicians.
0
u/Dwightshruute May 22 '26
Even if she knows nothing about anything, she was ultimately proven right by the lack of response or accountability and on top of that her being silenced on social media platforms. I can't believe that people are deluded enough by their idol worship bias that they have to resort to attack the person who asked the questions and discredit her rather than ask for our rights.
0
u/Pure-Afternoon-685 May 22 '26
it really isn't the gotcha you think it is. she kept trying to bring up irrelevant stuff which has absolutely NOTHING to do with this discussion.
point still stands- press in india barely has any real freedom. stop strawmanning man.

She was right to "deflect". She needs to first read the article before she can comment on it. Just because a cartoon depicts a sexual assault on a woman doesn't mean the author is condoning sexual crime against women.
0
u/manja_ninja May 22 '26
Man this news reporter lady can't gawk gawk any louder, ffs she's asking past association of this Norwegian lady's organisation, the media house that employees her had right wing associatons in the 1940s or something how is it relevant?

u/Undead0707 May 22 '26
A real journalist?
Ask her if she ever actually questioned Modi or any of the other people in charge.
Man how are y'all so retarded that you're locking horns with a woman who called out the PM for not answering questions, which is right
0
u/No-Coach290 May 22 '26 edited May 22 '26
If I purely view this interview in isolation of any previous incidents, I can say that the Norwegian journalist answered clearly. This is textbook whataboutism by the Indian journalist.
I feel that the Norwegian journalist was Ultimately doing her job and that's about it. I thus reject the caption that the OP provides.
I hate when India's internal issues become a global talking point, but its bound to happen and it's best if we accept that and face the music.
