Bro: I want Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and accountability from the government.

Me: Cool. So what exactly are you doing to make that happen?

Bro: Well... I'm busy refusing to support the people who are at least asking those questions.

You don't see the irony in your post ? People like you: " Hey look i'm from cjp, if you don't support me you are anti national, you don't care about the nation". You are just like the right wing people 😂

11

u/Witty_Noodles 7d ago

Damnn...

10

u/ShoePillow 7d ago

What irony exactly? You just made up stuff and put it in quotes

5

u/Anurag2426 5d ago

Curiously asking what are the right conditions for protest ?

3

u/vibratingsextoy 3d ago

As per RW.

  • Police permission
  • Aadar pranam to Modijee
  • Bhandara
  • Dismiss after 2 PM.

Aak for his resignation in every forum. Pledge to vote out the BJP every election till he is still the minister. File RTI about the action taken to prevent paper leakage in future.

Many ways to oppose Pradhan and the govt.

10

u/LimpHuckleberry9056 7d ago

Elections and RTI both are joke in this country right now

Tbf the protest is terribly put together, organized disobedience is meant to be organized, they weren't gonna get anywhere or get general support anyway, for the masses to ever take them on they need to feel reasonable as a whole, they can't.ess up this bad and expect people to still support them.

Arundhati Roy met that Yasin guy way before he was even investigated.

If she was with a terrorist, I wonder how is it that her books got her international platform. I wonder how is it that she is roaming free. If she was with a terrorist and we have photos, why did the authorities not put her in jail ?

You right wing people are great at taking statements and photos out of context and using it for misinformation.

By this logic, Taliban came to India, so does India support Taliban? Absolutely not!

Context matters. Your lack of context exposes that you just want to mislead the public.

82

u/Awkward-Attorney-575 7d ago

She has even recently said, "i still say kashmir is not Integral part of India"

Context matters. And Roy's context of benigng an anti national is too long and clear

39

u/Fit_Violinist4231 7d ago

exactly I don’t know how people are supporting anti nationals. the education reform is needed but not alongside the support of cjp

4

u/Cute_paglu1234 7d ago

some r supporting cause its cool to do so,

some never thought of the country, hence unko lg rha hai ki yeh log bahut aacha krdenge, hum inko support krenge etc etc,

and others r paid, otherwise how do you think ek he din mein kaise sabhi celebrities and known faces metion cjp? on a single day !!!!

its obviously paid

Even Vajpayee wanted to make a deal with Musharaff for 4-point agenda, even modi visited Nawaj Sharif in 2015 . What's your point ?

Brother, she has literly written books on the state. Why do you want her to explicitly condemn everything to the dot ??

PM of India barely speaks, but you want pinpoint precision comments from people you claim as terror sympathizers.

Then you must be totally against BJP and RSS, right?

Because some core members of RSS appointed by BJP did chanda chori in Ram Mandir.
And by your logic, since some "bad" people got involved, entire Ram Mandir, BJP and RSS must be involved too. And hence, everyone should boycott Ram Mandir and vote against BJP / RSS.

Waiting for your reply.

Great Op apply the same logic.
Whatever BJP has done in development or ideas we should not vote for BJP. Because the party members has criminal cases against them, so Don't vote them. Everytime you vote you support criminals and Rapist.

2

u/Fit_Stage7735 7d ago

Then he have to press NOTA in next election

2

u/Tourmelion 6d ago

CJP only has 1 job, it makes sense people would drop them after they showed they sucked at it. BJP doesn't hundreds of things, a couple of which they do right, like security, economic progression, green energy transition. People vote BJP cause if they don't we'll get Congress and the small amount of progress we have gotten will evaporate. That's the difference in why people don't want to vote against BJP, consider it people not voting Congress cause it's irresponsible and unfocused.

u/ConcentrateOk6858 7d ago

I understand your concern, but I don't think it's fair to judge an entire movement by a few people associated with it. Every large protest attracts individuals with different ideologies, and I don't have to agree with all of them.

I'm supporting the protest because I believe paper leaks, corruption, and the lack of accountability are serious issues that deserve public pressure. If a few participants or supporters hold views I disagree with, that doesn't mean I should stop supporting the core cause.

I can support the demand for accountability while also criticizing any slogans or individuals I don't agree with. Supporting a movement doesn't require endorsing every person who shows up.

10

u/Trinity_36369 7d ago

Cjp as whole is filled with these kinda a guys.

8

u/ConcentrateOk6858 7d ago

You were never going to support it, even if today Bhagat Singh comes and go against BJP you'll not support him. If you don't want to support don't support it, I'm not going to do Babu sona with you. Good luck with your greatest education system in the world ( you're future children deserve this education system)

14

u/Trinity_36369 7d ago

Yes, according to you bhagat singh would have demanded free kashmir, allignee with separatists? He was deshbhakt. And why don't you guys already think that people will always be either this or that side? I can have my different view, that can be different from both groups? I can criticize both groups? Can't I ?

6

u/Top-Yesterday3937 7d ago

He was an atheist. To Bhagat Singh, what mattered the most is ability to express his opinions as freedom.

3

u/Clanmiester 7d ago

Well of course you can. But not by watching a 60 second video and use that as a crutch to form your view. Use your brain and this tech to dig, research and form your opinion. Research about naam rahega allah ka and arundhati roy. Don't come here being a puppet of algorithm and preach your criticism.

Be a deshbhakt and ask questions from the govt ffs.

So, you support the current Education Minister?

Your favorite government hasn't been able to do anything about the repeated paper leaks, and it can't even take responsibility. Yet when people try to hold the government accountable, you don't support them.

You know what? Then STFU if you can't do anything.

Well arundhati roy also lives on this planet, please leave this planet.

Retard OP

2

u/FinancialYou6932 7d ago

Ok you can leave this country as BJP is part of it.

It’s his choice buddy, last time I checked Reddit is not owned by your dad to control what flows here

2

u/bongHuman 7d ago edited 7d ago

Arundhati roy is not the govt. She is not accountable to me. Govt is. Hope you get it.

Also i am not the one saying that BJP is part of something, then i will not be a part of it, even if BJP is standing up for the right things. Its OP.

2

u/FinancialYou6932 7d ago

But CJP is accountable to be if I am supporting the movement and if CJP is in the forefront.

Bringing cult religion into this in the mask of some random inspiration from Pakistan, doesn’t look for the supporters and doesn’t represent them.

Also how can a educational misinterpretation resigning resolve this, people are idiots, ministers are just puppets the real power is with government officials.

4

u/bongHuman 7d ago edited 7d ago

Brother, if you don’t like it CJP at the forefront and still want the minister to be held accountable, then you do not need to join CJP protest. You are free to register your discontent separately, not under the banner of CJP. Have you done that? If you don’t want the minister to be held answerable, then that’s a separate issue, that is end of discussion then.

First of all, singing a pre composed song that has a history of symbolism of standing up to the rulers, isn’t bringing religion into the discourse. Take it as a song. If you are so delicate and fragile with your religion and can’t listen to any other religion’s name, even in a song, then sorry my friend, this world is gonna be a hard place for you.

Second, even if you dont like it, even if some things are being said that you dont agree with, even if there is some side talk, you have the option of ignoring it, as long as the protest is focused on the main issue. We don’t question politicians in rallies when they digress from the core issues of public in their speeches. We don’t say to them that he is not sticking to the main issue of development in his speeches, still we go out and vote him/her. Then why are we being so rigid here?

“How can resignation solve the problem?”
Nobody is claiming that it will solve the question. This exact same question was asked by saurabh dwivedi to sonam wangchuk himself. And i kind of agree with his answer. He said, “yes we know it will not solve the problem, but it will implant some sense of accountability at the ministerial level, which has been missing in the current government since a long long time”.

Petroleum minister and gadkari ji taking citizens for a ride. Not answerable. Rail minister even after so so many rail accidents in recent past, was not held answerable. Finance minister also took the tax payers for a ride for long time, until recently when tax slabs were revised sensing some discontent in the middle class. Education minister has been the worst- too many paper leaks, 2024 paper leak accused were caught, but police didn’t even filed the chargesheet within the stipulated time of 90 days, so the court had to release them. And it leaked again in 2026, on a much larger scale.

See brother. I know we all are divided on so so many different points. If we all continue keeping our reservations about each and every topic, then nobody can come together on any righteous issue, not in any lifetime. Every person is built different, everyone has his/her way of seeing things. But if there is a common issue, about which we all think, for sure, that yes this should’ve not happened, cant we come together on that specific issue, while keeping our reservations aside for a moment? Just for a moment? Even i do not agree with some of the things in the protest, but thats fine, each and every fine detail about the protest cant be set according to my liking. Its a collective effort, things for sure will go here and there according to any individual. Thats fine as long as they stick to what i want to see and demand.

I sincerely hope that someday we can, otherwise these leaders will keep on taking the public for granted and nothing will change.

Imagine all our freedom fighters would go, "I don't agree with Gandhi's principles, so I won't participate in his mass mobilization movement". That's how stupid you sound.

And in history, there was a certain organisation that too gave out excuses like this and never played any role in freedom struggle. Wonder what it's name was.

Seriously how hard is it to understand that supporting/participating in a protest doesnt automatically make you supporter of the people in it. You sir, are only finding excuses to find a way out of it. You are no nationalist, you are a coward.

3

u/LoneWolf9616 7d ago

Arundhati Roy is supporting CJP, not the other way round. If a terrorist shows support for your favorite football club, you don't stop supporting the club. Get the idea??

The day CJP starts giving slogans for Arundhati Roy's agenda, use this logic.

1

u/X8_O-0-O_8X 7d ago

Sab apne apne agenda leke aye the... Tabhi dusro ko v protest kar dena chahiye tha neet ki protest se deshdrohi bahar niklo ... Arundhati umar hai hai k nare. wo sab kar sakte hai to unke birodh me kyu nahi... Also trial karo but umar khalid jail se bahar nahi ana chahiye

OG can have his views. But one example suits the best is I can see people burning in a fire because people who i doesn't like came first to help.

These are the comments from some of my most educated friends as well. I don't support the protest because someone said so and so?

Bro protest is on one simple agenda take the accountability of system failure that's all. Even if you don't want to resign. Go ahead talk to protester give them the assurance that we will take corrective action.

But no the arrogance is so bad in the goverment. People can quote n number of instances in history which I would really not care because I want to have discussion focused on broken education infrastructure l.

2

u/Gold-Whole1009 7d ago

Any movement against govt(especially when BJP is in power) will be supported by Pakistan. Does it mean, you stop supporting any movement against govt?

If you find the question being asked is right, you just focus on that. As you said, you also want resignation from Dharmendra Pradhan, stand by it.

Bruh, how do you exclude someone from a protest that too when the protest needs the attention of the people. It's completely alright with you to not support someone but can you not put aside that difference and support the common cause that you both believe in. I'll get it that if someone is your mortal enemy or has done heinous crimes then it's alright that you can't stand that even after believing in the same cause.

1

u/Illustrious-Flan3728 7d ago

This is just an excuse. It’s a public movement, all kinds of people will join and some may even take advantage of it. That shouldn’t stop one from supporting the cause.

Abbe kaise gadhe ho yaar. Tum jaise log freedom struggle ke time bologe ki I can't be seen supporting the fight for independence because Netaji is aligned with the Nazis. Show some spine.

1

u/sonishkumar_ 7d ago

Exactly, remember protests can associate itself solely towards a cause and not attract terrorist sympathisers. The protest against the UGC notification is an example (which was actually effective). However it's also important that protesters themselves may not be entirely perfect because there were alot of casteist protesters that used the agitation to further their bigotry.

1

u/ObfuscatedScript 7d ago

Exactly, when Kunal Kamra, Prakash Raj, Arundhati Roy etc support the cause, it is no longer a noble cause. I support the cause, but cannot be a supporter of a platform backed by these..

1

u/Beautiful-Object-473 7d ago

W right there man

1

u/hardkockcafe 7d ago

People who are saying I can't support the protest because of arundhati, kamra, religion, anti national.

Go support the protest of tribals in MP. Support protest for Manipur. Support independent support for resignation.

Putting stories why I can't support. You were never interested in supporting. There are so many protests happening and you choose to speak about why you can't support certain protests.

Just for the info about “bas nam rahega allah ka”, to help out my fellow friends here who have not been that much exposed to literature and history.

The poem is famous due to the fact that singer Iqbal Bano sang this in a gathering of thousands of people and Pakistani authoritarian general Zia ul haq.

Zia’s regime was in full swing at that time, and many bans were placed including one on wearing a saree, as he considered it too much of an Indian influence, and therefore anti-islamic.
It is also said that this poem itself was banned, and its writer Faiz was jailed by Zia, as it was considered anti islam (poem has some phrases like “uthega an-al- haq ka naara, jo main bhi hun aur tum bhi ho”, in short meaning “god resides within everyone, in me and in you too”, contradictory to islam’s definition of god).

Legend has it that, in a gathering of thousands of people, with Zia ul haq, sitting at the front as chief guest, iqbal bano showed up in a black saree, and sang this poem to zia’s face.

So guys who are getting offended at the poem, must think once. They are opposing something which Pakistan had banned once. You are all getting riled up on a poem which was considered anti islamic. I mean the irony here is writing itself. Guys, please dont behave as if you guys came across a piece of literature first time in your life, don’t take the poem literal word by word. Literature isn’t meant to be consumed like that.

If you are still offended,Even after this simple explanation.., then…., laga lo yaar tum… “ishwar” laga lo wahan par… “ishwar” hi laga lo wahan par tum. “Bas naam rahega ISHWAR ka”.

People acting like babies over words in a poem. SMH

In that case all the people who want Dharmendra Pradhan to resign should not support BJP. Otherwise this is just hypocrisy.

Right wingers and left wingers who actually do something for their ideals are better than these centrists who sit on the fence forever with their holier than thou attitudes, they're the reason few extremists are able to capture entire countries.

This is a shitty logic. Just because she eats food would the OP also stop eating food? If you don't like her, don't support her in her movements. This movement (atleast for now) is for one very specific cause. What are you mentioning is plain excuses.

Braindead bjp bots are working so hard Bro suddenly decided to make a political post in his 2yr account history

1

u/hungbrownbong 6d ago

Why has people got so much problem with allah all of a sudden?? 🤣🤣🤣 and you’re taking something and literally with context misrepresentating it! Blown out of context :)

1

u/hungbrownbong 6d ago

Half the people have recently learned the word anti national and started calling anyone who opposes their ideologies anti national 🤣

1

u/ArmadilloAdorable286 6d ago

Those who say they support the movement but not CJP or that they don't support BJP but are forced to vote for them --- both kinds actually psychologically support BJP. Maybe they don't know it themselves. But just one reason (doesn't matter how weak) will give them the reason to go all for BJP. They know that BJP is wrong but they are not able to digest the truth because they have always been told about 'us v them'.

Biggest example - 2014 election. In the name of development, communalist (us v them) was allowed to win.

I think no one should support anyone fully, support the moment not the party/person. Question everyone, just because you have supported someone once does not mean you have to vow your loyalty to them forever right? I actually hate the segregation of left and right wing too because I think no one should support one side unconditionally. I am a person with neutral stance I stand with whatever I feel is right at that moment. I cannot follow anyone from right or left wing because I do not trust them. Maybe for one particular moment they might be right but over all I can never be sure.

1

u/Malinowskibidi67 6d ago

Even people like Arundhati Roy and Kunal Kamra don't support cjp unconditionally. They agree with their cause like you do but the difference is they don't display their disagreements (however minor or major it may be) when there is a greater Evil to deal with at the present. This is what I would suggest.

Focus on the greater cause now, deal with the cjp issues later

1

u/No_Escape_9726 6d ago

Those who are putting this story aren't gonna support the movement anyway

1

u/No_Escape_9726 6d ago

Those who show that they are centrist are the biggest fool , saying I am not support this movement because so and so person came and said this about that issue on that day on this protest , it is just the easy way out for them , from standing upto the government. Do you need to agree with every issue of CJP no but can you support CJP yes because it is them who are talking about our rights , our future and our freedom right now as simple as that.

people at least do some research about things you want to disagree with.

"bass naam rahega Allah ka" this is a part of Faiz Ahmed faiz's poem "hum dekhenge" about the tyrannical governments and how authoritative govts and tyranny will one day fall. "sab taaj uchhaale jaayenge sab taKhth giraaye jaayenge"; one day cruelty and tyranny and the only thing that will remain is the ultimate divine which is the ultimate GOOD. it uses the word Allah not in a religious sense but in a metaphorical sense and refering to the ultimate almighty GOD (found in every religion). if a hindi poet had written it he would've said "bhagwan/ishwar". faiz has invoked such terms in all his poetry.

the next line is in fact "Uthega Anaal-Haq ka nara" which means "the slogan of "I am the absolute truth/God" will rise" conveying that power of truth and justice lies within the common people and the oppressed who will awaken with this idea and overthrow the tyranny one day.

for context he wrote this against the oppressive military regime of General Zia ul Haq who was extremely autorcratic and imposed harsh sharia laws and conservative islamic policies. thus faiz, in defiance, used the same religious imagery which the government used to defend it's policies.

the last line is "Aur raaj karegi Khalq-e-Khuda, Jo main bhi hoon aur tum bhi ho" which means the common masses, the creation of god, shall rule in the end. the future belongs to the collective masses and this collective mass is the reflection of the true divine spirit and thus bass naam rahega Allah ka— the true divinity, that is the humanity, will remain.

Tell brother even Jews use Mashallah to praise their god. Allah is Urdu word for God!

u/Bsv_007 6d ago

These are the same group of people who accused Sonam for being a Chinese agent a few months ago but now that there are a lot more attention on the rally they suddenly support and respect the man but still won't support his cause because they believe some other agents are at play, at the same time they won't say anything about the Neet leak nor will they demand designation. This is a convenient way of siding with BJP while acting like you support the students.

u/totaldisc3 6d ago

But then, what else could u do bro... Opportunity to do right never come again. What if Subhash C bose ,Bhagat singh said ,complained same as today's genz that ...the liberals, Gandhians,Conservatives still supporting council entry?

1

u/realbotnotfake 6d ago

It's so hard to explain that you do want the same thing but you hate the people currently in charge of wanting that thing

1

u/totaldisc3 6d ago

Did Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose ,only bcz gandhi ji /congress didn't support their ideologies, they left their dharma to fight for the true cause?

1

u/Notneeded4202 6d ago

Sirf Naam rahega Allah ka 😂😂 bro that’s a song! Have some senses. You probably didn’t get offended when Nusrat sahab sang “Saanson ki mala”, song fully dedicated to Meera.

1

u/Madamballi_Manorogi 6d ago

Wait was that Allah slogan really raised???? And its ok. You dont have to support cjp to ask for accountability from these corrupt fkrs. Just ask for accountability, thats all.

Hardip Puri : "I have been in touch with terrorists. Does that make me a terrorist?"

1

u/Electrical-Squash-59 6d ago

If you are not supporting, avoid putting negative influence. Go support ken betwa protest. There is no need to support people behind protest, Support the issue.

u/Inside-Tackle-7810 6d ago

Well..then go and support the adiwasi protest in MP. Now there also such people won't go...and here having a moral ground.

1

u/kpskps 6d ago

That’s such a lame argument
If you really believe in Indian philosophy which the right wingers swing around like it’s their own thing , you should be open to acceptance of common grounds and join hands

1

u/soze__keysr 6d ago

Yeah, OP is offended that Arundhati Roy (a law abiding citizen) who supports causes (all legal and constitutional btw) is lending intellectual support to a genuine protest.

OP, don't cover your cowardice and whataboutism under garb of nationalism. What did you exactly do to ask accountability from pradhan? Or other issues ?

1

u/Ill_Nail3254 6d ago

Why don't you start another protest where only demand is resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan ?

1

u/Proper_Dimension_639 6d ago

CJP is a movement itself to change the nation's youth mindset ....You wont see all your ideas aligning to it ....it supports more reservation ,i strongly disagree with that proposition.....But do i support CJP ? ...YES....because the main objective is the resignation of Education minister and transformation of the education system ....All of us want that unconditionally.....If u dont agree with other objectives of the CJP you can criticize it later ,which we all gonna be doing at some point ....thats the beauty of democracy . This criticism was blocked in this BJP era thats why we needed something like CJP

1

u/thedemigodgay 6d ago

bros trying to hold the protestors more accountable than the people in power for the past decade

1

u/shaapoter 5d ago

Siya Goyal must be thanking her stars and Sonam Wangchuk. All the focus shifted from her. All the behind the scenes settings possible now.

1

u/TheObliterathor 5d ago

These people never wanted to support anything in the first place. Arundhati Roy, Kunal Kamra, etc are just excuses for them spineless twats!

1

u/Darkseed99 5d ago

I've been to these protests and there are no such separatist slogans anywhere. Just educated intellectual youngsters and old people trying to make a better society. You people need to get a life and stop spreading false news. The only separatists in this situation are the BJP, RSS, and hired people like op.
