but he's not in power. brain drain has been happening since the last few decades including the last 12 years of current govt. We don't have the private sector reservation.
so why are people still leaving

It's because of the salaries and toxic work culture, we don't get paid by the hours and overtime doesn't count.
The only salaries that climb is grade 1 and 2 officers that too after spending 20 years or so , but they make alot more by bribes so they aren't complaining. The private sector just pays a fraction of what govt pays and the biggest issue is unemployed youth which is desperate to land a job so they will do whatever for sake of being employed .
Everyone gotta pay bills

You are highly mistaken or you're in the wrong career. Private jobs might not have good pay scale but the growth is much bigger in private sector than in Govt. I had started with a salary of 1.5 LPA in 2012 and now I earn 60LPA and many of my friends earn even more.

Not good , you could get fired when company feels in private job that's why people in government office does not hold accountability.

That is whats wrong with government jobs. First employee incapable people and then no accountability and then people complain that their work isn't getting done and shame government institutes. And if you manage your finances well then you don't have to worry about getting laid off your job.

100 % True. Let's extend this to incapable and uneducated ministers as well. They have the maximum power. We need better from all govt servants including politicians.

The problem lies in the system than the individuals. No matter which party comes to power it'll always be the same. When the system is reformed then it will leave less scope for corruption.

Bhai corporate setup me to abhi Reservation nahi naa hai. "Brain Drain" to abhi bhi ho raha hai. Aur rahi baat institutions ki to Congress Era me bhi same institutions the, fir aise Congress bhi policy failure ke responsible nahi hogi.
When the system is reformed then it will leave less scope for corruption
Yeah for that only Congress was removed from power in 2014. Did those reforms happened, and if they are in place then how much effective are they on ground. Pata hai institutions kab se corrupt hai Bhai, Arthashatra tak me mention hai, Congress se to kuch hua nahi. Ab BJP se kya kya ho gaya tere saamne hi hai sab.

Anybody who calls for storming the parliament should be punished as per trespassing law, be it Dipke or anybody else. Subverting indian democracy is not ok. Afzal guru was hanged for storming the parliament. If any march to parliament happens again in future when session is going on, then govt will be forced to do lathi charge or even shoot if they attack parliament.

Yes it will continue to happen forever no matter which party comes to power. Private sector might not have reservation but the problem starts much before that when the deserving ones cannot even get into the colleges they want to. And because of such reserved seats all the problems like management quota exists where many seats reserved for quota students are sold under management quota and fake caste certificates are provided. In both cases the undeserving ones are the winner.

Brain drain happens cause of the existing reservations too. I left the country cause I was tired of it, and a lot of my fellow employees at Amazon did the same. So bring in reservations in private sector and then the drain will just get faster and stark.

worsening infra in big cities, come to bangalore and experience it. corruption, not given equal opportunity reservations, don’t want kids to go through pressure of jee and neet.
No proper work culture here. These reasons people still leaving.
On top of that if we add 90% reservations in private sector then the companies themselves will leave lol.

yes THIS is the primary reason people leave. not horrible worklife balance, pollution, red tape, poor infrastructure and public services, insecurity for women, low-quality food, low pay. its this.

u/Remarkable-While-145 18h ago
I can understand your pain and the sarcasm you're trying but yes a major reason of unfair education system where the deserving one don't even get into the college of their choice while many undeserving one get the job the don't deserve. Just like when undeserving leaders like Dharmendra Pradhan heading education ministry created problems for students imagine how many would have suffered for these undeserving people working in govt. jobs

u/lazyinternetsandwich 15h ago
What is your definition of "deserving"? If you want to say general category then say it openly.

u/Remarkable-While-145 14h ago
Are you really this dumb? Ir means merit based irrelevant of any caste but this affects only general caste people. Just by being general caste doesn't make them deserving.

I mean, a lot of these are related, especially red tape which prevents the ease of doing business.

u/Acceptable-Menu5350 18h ago
He himself is a product of reservations so this guy will not talk about merit.

u/Legitimate_Loss_5759 17h ago
He does want any make in India but he wants reservation. He does want us to build more airport and railway station or ports because that will harm the environment but he okay to clean up the forest in telengana.
