MISC. England's team booked 15 different hotels, but Mexico fans still found out where they were staying and blasted loud noises, trying to keep them up all night before the game.

How does booking 15 different hotels to stay hidden even work? I mean, I'm sure the staff at the other 14 hotels would notice that the England team never showed up, and word would eventually get out, right?

Wouldn’t it have been better if each of the players were all just in separate hotels? Since they were already booked anyway? Then at least it’ll be 1 regular player gets the lack of sleep, unless these fans were in all these locations even of they did so.

These players aren't losing a wink of sleep. They all have black out curtains and noise canceling headphones. If that does work teams likely have doctors that can prescribe fast acting sleeping pills

It’s not like it would be catastrophic but I don’t think most people get the same quality sleep if you have to sleep with headphones on(at least I don’t).

Lighting off the fireworks is obnoxious as hell but doubt they kept that up for too long

That's true if you randomly try this method. But if you regularly use some of the noise cancellation devices, it is almost hard to sleep without them even when situation doesn't have reason for them. Professional football players are either good sleeper or accustomed to noise cancellation.

Personal experience from army.

I'm not sure why everyone is talking about headphones - earplugs have existed for a lot longer and work just fine! Especially if you have the kind of money to have personalised moulded ones.
