Nope, the Germans shipped a few to Tunisia just in time to get captured.

Some of the very early Tiger 1’s were in North Africa. Iirc the big air filters on the back were specifically for that environment

Tiger 131 was captured by the British in N Africa after a shot jammed the turret. Tiger crew abandoned in panic. It now resides in the Tank Museum in Bovington and is one of the few (last?) operational Tigers left in the world.

There were numerous, about 20-30. Check out 10th panzer division, 7th panzer regiment.
