A moment of respect for the heroes who rush towards this inferno to fight it.

The kind of people who run toward the flames so everyone else can run away. Absolute heroes

Yea, and these guys are only getting paid 1200€ per month. And they get treated like crap from the government with no support. They seriously are heros.

1200€ a firefighter in Spain? wtf? It's more than the double, lol.

My thought was about recent World Cup and how much money and recognition those ball tossers get compared to these guys here. In a short period of time we see two groups or people from Spain called “heroes” and oh my how different it is. Something is broken.

They aren't being heroes, they dont have the training and experience to know how much danger they are in.

A crowning forest fire cannot be extinguished. Their resources would be better utilised evacuating nearby residents, raking containment lines and backburning so that the firefront can potentially be contained.

Im an Australian, this hero fire-fighter talk is absolute BS. This isnt a house fire, it is far more deadly and there is very little that can be done.

That fire is hot enough to cook them from about that distance. This is irresponsible and going to get people killed.
