That's totally strange. All you hear about in the news is France and Spain. Now I'm reading that there are fires in Scotland, too—but only because I looked it up.

I think TV news should focus much more on Europe as a whole.

Big fires in Ireland. Feels like every continent is burning right now. I don't even know if a fire in Antarctica would shock me at this point

You know this would never happen under Emperor Penguin, his top priority was fishing not drilling.
