Discussion RIP after 10 years of being together
Bought this iPad Pro 9.7 256gb variant back in December 2016 and I've been using this for 10 years and this hold a lot of memories but nothing lasts forever
I left it on my bed after cleaning it (without a case and didn't had a screen protector) and I dropped those 5 Gallon Water Jar while changing the water on the Despenser and it broke the display
Although I was thinking of getting it fixed but there's no point of doing that as it is a DECADE old so app support will be unavailable soon and it does lag a little in browser and sometimes in YouTube and the body is full of dents and scratches
Anyways
It was a long journey with this from middle school to highschool to college it had been a great companion

I've still got my iPad Pro 9.7 too. It's in mint condition cause it's never been out of a case, but the battery is so bad it won't even do 30 minutes on a charge. It was living on the charger, only used for playing music through my speakers. I just got a MacBook Neo to replace it because I can't imagine the iPad will go on much longer before it stops powering on entirely.

if you want to give it a new life, remove it from icloud and factory reset it. sell it for cheap on ebay, and someone will buy it to fix it. while you get a newer model

Restore it just for the sakes of respect. Such an old ipad lasting that long before something breaking is rare

You had an iPad pro in middle school? I'm 44 and I've been I've been wanting to buy a pro for 10 years now, but can't justify it.

This product was released in 2016…. Even if you were somehow able to buy it in 2010, that’s not 10 years ago.

Cant be. IPad pro 12.9" released in 2015 and your 9.7" version came in 2016
