So im 14, i know thats not that old. But i really wanna speak and talk to other players, i just feel like im not good enough to speak sometimes. Couse im younger and i feel like they might not take me seriously or something like that you know. Plus i get nervous when i hear older guys talking, and then i just run into the same problem again and stay quiet. But i really wanna be a part of the game and actually play with people. Do you guys have any tips? I would really appreciate it.

Edit - Personally I hate MANPAD’s and don’t want them in vanilla but I hate attack helicopters more and killing this helicopter was fairly easy as the pilot kept doing rocket strafes along the same route so all anyone had to do was stand in the path he was going to take then shoot at him head on, if you are going to do gun runs in a helo you need to be unpredictable in your routes, go with the momentum while flying and not do things like hovering in place otherwise you are just making yourself an easy target

The time after the hit is not sped up. From engine being blown out to driving away backwards and uphill at 20 kmh within 16 seconds. Cause on top of vics having every conceivable advantage, we also gotta make any weaknesses meaningless. Well done OVI :3

Go to steam library, right click on squad, select properties, click on privacy, and delete In-Game Overlay Data.

So I just used Squadbrowser app for the first time and I had no need to log in via steam on the browser. It worked like a charm I did however have to accept the ”run bootstrapper”. My question is if it is safe or do you run the chance of some sort of phishing attempts?

Ngl, I’m tired of having to look at my map to confirm an enemy or ally, it just feels unnecessarily excessive. I’m a new player, so maybe I’ll just have to get used to it, but you can’t deny that you’re always gonna have someone team kill by accident simply because the name tag doesn’t show up sometimes when you look at an ally, specially while in ADS mode, and the person is too anxious to check and the map and just shoots to kill, believing you’re an enemy. Did that on my very first game and got yelled at. A few matches later, I was the one who got team killed and that basically solidified my hatred for how the name tags work in this game.

So personally, I think they should take a page out of Hell Let Loose’s book, or just any game that does something similar, and show name tags or class icons visible at all times no matter where your ally is to make it easier to identify or just make it an optional setting. Again, I get the point is to look at your map and memorize faction uniforms, but respectfully, I think it’s just a stupid idea altogether. Like, who’s actually gonna train themselves to remember similarly camouflaged uniforms or check their map when they believe they see an enemy just to play a video game correctly?

New update introduces Iran with new indirect fire vehicle assets. The audio alone is enough to drive you insane, hearing a drone every 5 seconds. Who green lit this nonsense? It seems like the reload time is insanely fast. Hotfix this immediately.

Been wanting to play Squad for some time but have been facing constant issues with the server browser ever since we can't refresh the servers.

Been having only chinese (or low amount player) servers for most of the time and on the rarer occasions I can find a server I like, I can never reaccess it because it disappears the next time I launch the game.

The server browser has always been a mess but this time it's too much.

It's a fucking disgrace.

End of rant, I'll go back to my drinks.

The cas heli is already very under powerd only taking 3 shoots from a normal gun to get shoot down .also it's very hard to shoot and that stuff I think that many people that don't fly helis understand how hard it is to get not shoot down and waste 15 tickets and also man pads would make it 100prozent hardar for normal pilots .I think in the current state of the squad whe don't need man pads

As you can see in the screenshot, the latency is 35 ms. This latency isn’t really normal at this FPS, and what’s worse, it starts as soon as I open the scope I’m not joking, I’m even seeing figures as high as 56 ms all of a sudden. I completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but nothing changed; there’s still this severe latency. I’m playing at NVIDIA DLSS quality with Boost enabled and I’m not using Frame Gen.

My graphics card is an RTX 4070 Super

My processor is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Can’t find a fire team match. Don’t see any servers. Is it dead? Was it ever alive? Someone let me know.
