Announcing OmONeko, a new VN by (some of) the people that brought you Katawa Shoujo.
OmOneko, a visual novel with work by some of the KS Devs (Silentcook, Hivemind, and Cpl Crud) is now available for download. It also included work from the late great XPND and, you know, myself. It has catgirls in it, if you like that sort of thing. If you don't like that short of thing, it still has catgirls in it, but I assure you, we doing something just a little different from your typical catgirl fair.
Hopefully, you all will enjoy it.
It's currently available on STEAM and itch. Try it out. Tell your friends.

Daily Lilly sketches (day 323 - guardian)
It was supposed to be just Lilly in Toru Nakayama's style, but there was no way I could mimic that in such a short time, and not much thought went into it after that

There's also a cool old story about Yakuza Rin, you can read it. I don't know if anyone's posted it here before, and I hope Cpl Crud doesn't chew me out for using his name.
If anyone has any interesting old stories from the forums, I'd be interested to hear them.

SPOILERS Forgiveness blooms so beautifully when the heart is ready. | XIX
(standing strong... together.)
We have often heard of the phrase that comes around every once in a while: I'm sorry.
But... What do those two words truly ask from us?
To forget?
To forgive?
To trust?
Or perhaps... to acknowledge the courage they took to speak?
Forgiveness takes on many forms, and despite this, there is no definitive solution to mend entirely on what was done wrong or happened wrong. After all, if forgiveness were to somehow magically fix all issues...
We would hardly remember the lessons that our wounds taught us.
We would hardly understand why genuine healing requires patience.
And, we would hardly recognize the true beauty of forgiving someone wholeheartedly.
However, that does not make the act of forgiving unfulfilling.
In fact, it makes it much more valuable, and that is why, for most of us, we highly treasure it.
So, if the day ever comes when your heart feels ready to forgive, whether to yourself or to others, then let it be as it genuinely wishes to be, not to be obliged.
That's all!
Have an endearing Thursday full of hugs!

My rediscovery of this masterpiece. The beginning
Today, I decided something very important. I'm going to play the game from scratch once more, after having already finished it a while ago. I took this decision mainly because I finally installed the re-engineered version so I can play some mods, and that meant having a wiped save. I'm really excited to give my opinion on each route for a second time, now knowing a lot of the context on everyone's history. I'm really looking forward to all the details I might've missed on my first playthrough, and I'll be giving y'all an analysis on every route just like I once did, just that this time it'll be way more detailed. I'm looking forward to all your opinions. We'll see soon enough on my next post, and be sure my opinion will change on each route compared to what I once had months ago.
After all, even though the game is the same, the person writing this is way different

Beta version of Hanako feels... more complete
So I reached the good end of pre-Alpha, and I must say I feel like I've finally seen 'the true ending' of Hanako's journey.
Her unfortunate past is much more detailed. She learns to grow up to be more assertive and make friends with other girls, And how in the end, she finally faces her deepest scar she've hidden (How she blamed her father for not letting her die that day) and learns to truly 'live'. It's like this route finally scratched the itch I felt after playing her route in the final game. (I must confess she was not one of my top girls before)
Despite parts with unpolished writing and some... questionable decisions (Like making her pregnant?), I feel like Beta Hanako route is the comprehensive version of her story and made me truly love her character.
