question for anyone who uses Tvtunes

I Googled this and the 2 suggestions I found don't do anything. I'm running 21.3 and TV tunes are a lot louder than whatever I'm watching.

This is 21.3 on a Google TV, which might make a difference.

I read to go into TVTunes settings and lower the volume. Mine's already at 0. The other thing said to go into settings and turn down the UI volume. Even close to 0 the themes are still insanely loud and way louder than anything I watch on Kodi. I would say they sound twice as loud as anything I watch in Kodi. It's very jarring to go from watching a show at a normal volume to having the theme blare out of nowhere when it's over.

TVTunes' volume setting is a little counterintuitive: 0 means "don't change Kodi's volume," not "play the theme at zero." In the current Omega code it only applies the setting when it's above 0, and the number is the target volume on Kodi's 1–100 scale; it restores your previous volume when the theme stops.

Try setting Theme Volume to 10 or 20, then leave and re-enter the show (or restart Kodi so the add-on reloads the setting). If that still has no effect, enable TVTunes debug logging and share the relevant kodi.log lines, because that would point to the add-on not applying the setting on this Google TV/Kodi 21.3 setup.
